    the hotel was excellent in almost every aspect

    We paid for a sea view but in fact all we could see was boats in the marina in one half of the window and the landscape on the other half....not quite a SEA VIEW would you say ? It is a pity that there is no lift to room 301 !!!

    "Bournemouth was a fantastic place to visit. There's so much to do & the beach is fabulous. There is also great nightlife although it doesn't get going till midnight. You are about 15 mins away in this hotel. It costs about £15 in a taxi. The hotel was so quiet it was a lovley retreat after a busy day." (107802827)

    Rooms were clean and bright. Views were amazing. Breakfast overlooking the harbour on the crisp white linen was a pleasure. Continental is there for you to pick and everythign else is done to your specification.

    Room very comfortable/clean. Food excellent, views excellent. The wifi internet access worked well for the week I was there except for the Monday evening but was fixed by the time I returned on Tuesday, plus the wifi is free.

    Can't really fault it except for having to wait 30 minutes for the full English breakfast to arrive on the Saturday morning even though during the week they could manage it in 10 to 15 and that was a long enough but acceptable wait.

    Great service by all employees . Restaurant service very good too. Accompanied by our two dogs - very easy and staff very helpful. Will be staying again.

    Hotel position is excellent , we had a lovely view of the bay from our windows. Room was good size and very clean.

    Shower could have been more powerfull.

    The Hotel was well situated with amazing sea views. The food was very good and the staff extremely friendly. The rooms were quite spacious and very relaxing. The price was very affordable for the experience.

    The Bar seemed to close a little early, 9pm, but to be fair there were no guests to serve at that time.

    Lovely position of hotel overlooking the harbour, very clean public rooms and bedroom and dog friendly (very important!). Delicious breakfast, excellent value. Well kept grounds with plenty of parking.

    My elderly mother found the stairs a bit challenging (we were on the 3rd floor) but help was offered to carry our bags upstairs.

    Very friendly and efficient staff. Good location. Good internet connection

    Food very dissapointing and poor value. I only ate in after the first night because the weather was poor. 5 main meals with no vegetables (a small salad) Chips evidently frozen. Haddock for breakfast - tiny. Not up to the standard I would expect from a hotel in this class. The bathroom would benefit from a shaving mirror

    great location, wonderful views. Very big room, hotel is very good value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the hotel for a relaxing weekend...

    Restaurant - the food was good however took too long to arrive, for a 3 course meal and coffee it took 2:45m. It was valentines day and a fully booked restaurant but still far too long to wait for a meal...

    Friendly, happy staff. Nice location, good free parking, free wifi which worked ! Great views of the harbour. Very good value food in restaurant on day 2.

    Poor admin at checkout. Restaurant wasn't open Sunday evening - didn't know til we got there. Lights didn't work in corridor causing a room change - offered with no problems at all in fairness, to an upgraded view !!

    Hotel didn't pick up on the room having a harbour view request on the booking form, but upon arrival this was sorted out straight away.

    In a lovely seaside position, quiet with excellent views. Pleasant staff and really good value for money. Room very comfortable . Breakfast plenty of choice and of high standard. Bar meals limited choice but freshly cooked and tasty. Overall a very good experience for a few days break.

    Shower rather temperamental. Access for disabled difficult as no lift to upper floors.

    The room and the staff were really good. The restaurant has a lovely view. Breakfast was excellent

    We were really looking forwward to eating in the "Italian" restaurant, but were most disappointed with the quality of the food. I had minestrone, which was like a watered down version of a can of spaghetti. There was a wedding party in another room, which may have over-stretched the kitchen

    "I would not recommend staying at this hotel, especially after being told by a local taxi driver that the hotel was the only hotel in Poole that hadn't had any renovation for many years, which after staying there became very clear. I'd sooner stay at a travel inn than spend a night in what i can only compare to Faulty Towers. How much money do you have to spend these days to get an average room, because it seems £75 gets you a night in a prison cell! " (107544235)

    The hotel was relatively close to the venue of the event that we stayed to see.

    Our room was like an oven. Our view out of our window was of the staff room and generator. Our window was held shut by a magazine and piece of card. The sky did not work on the TV. Very noisey well into the early hours of the morning. The bar staff were awful. The price and quality of food was disgraceful; with a vegetarian platter for 2 people to share consisting of 2 pieces of garlic bread, 5 olives, 3 onion rings and some sweet and sour sauce, with the price being £8. The breakfast room was flooded from rain that fell through the evening. The breakfast was something similar to that you'd see Kerry Katona tucking into on an Iceland commercial. If it wasn't included in the price of the room then they would have charged £10 for it! After complaining to the manager about the window in our room, we were simply told that they knew about the problem and would be fixing it soon.

    "Good clean room and bed was really comfortable. The staff went out of its way to help. Breakfast was served in our room as we had to leave early, caused no problems and was really nice. Sea view is absolutely breathtaking, across a small marina, out to sea and Brownsea island. Great stay, if we are in that part of the world again will certainly stay there again." (97665663)

    Fantastic sea view, lots of windows that opened, letting in fresh sea air.

    there was nothing I didnt like about the hotel, only one night but a great stay.

    Room was spacious and comfortably furnished, with a lovely view of Poole Harbour.

    The staff. Always helpful and accomodating.

    Several services within the room not working or not of good quality. Mattress didn't fit base, there was overhang. Shower pressure poor. Alarm clock set on wrong time, not able to change.
