    Its a budget hotel...........so it attracts budget people, who behave like they normally would when @ home on their sink estate! The Car parks safe secure and cheap.

    Carpets badly stained, so do take slippers or industrial stength boots & socks so one can walk safely & freely around one's room! Lots of suntanned people, some with the black vaile covering there faces checking in without luggage & paying cash..........and making lots of animal type noise once in the bedroom next door. No worries there though it only lasts a few minutes..............then they are off........home.......

    We informed receiption that the light in the toilet did not work soon after arrival, this was never fixed. The hotel was full of the most inconsiderate people I have ever come across, I thought I was on a school trip.

    Same as other etaps: You pay the night before, so no queues at checkout in the morning.

    TV remote was not in room, had to return to reception to ask for it, and then had to pay £10 deposit. - I should have been offered on check in. I did not like the shower arrangements at all. -But all modern etaps are like this.

    absolutely froze all nite as heaters werent working, told staff bout it 3 times so in end i was offered hot chocolate to warm me up soon as i got bac in room we froze again now i have the flu. other than that it was plesent

    "On arrival I was told by a charmless receptionist (think I interrupted her fag break) that they hadn't any record of my booking. Computer says "No"!! Dug through bag and showed her my booking confirmation - booking suddenly materialised. No apology or word of explanation. Fortunately breakfast staff more friendly and helpful. Feel that room could look more appealing without too much difficulty and that breakfast could have a bit more choice BUT I've paid three times the price for very little extra! Location of hotel not too good but that'll probably change for the better as it's in a redevelopment area. Overall OK for the price and acceptable as I was alone. Don't think my wife would enjoy too much. " (107725653)

    Cheap accommodation. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate if uninspiring but at £2.95 can't complain.

    Room decor a bit drab. Paint on walls was a bit patchy. Room quite small as was window, so quite claustrophobic.

    friendly staff and helpful, basic rooms and fit for purpose. Excellent location to city centre

    Heating was poor in the room and the room was dusty, evidence the edge of the carpet you can see the layers of dust. No kettle in the room.

    value for money rooms with adequate facilities - you don't pay for what you don't need.

    perhaps some lunch/dinner facilities - ie more than sandwiches from a fridge

    I requested a non-smoking room when I booked but was allocated a smokers room upon a late check-in. This was a real shame.

    "The room was clean and modern,perhaps even a little clinical,but at the end of the day the price more than made up for any minor niggles.I would recommend the hotel to anybody who wanted somewhere to sleep after a night out on the town. " (107880461)

    Room was clean and the shower was excellent.Shared the room with a work colleague so in the end it cost each of us only £22.00 including car parking.

    When I booked the room I was told it was a 3 Bed,so I was a little surprised to find a double bed and a Bunk ! ! Could have been a big prblem if my other work colleague had turned up ! Oh and the bunk had not been made.

    Clean. Tidy. easy and not intimidating walk into the city centre. car park was secure. really cute young asain girl on reception.

    Stark does not begin to describe the room. No frills wouls be another few words. "swipe key cards" worked 2 out of 3 times so be prepared for a long walk back to reception. I defy anyone to enjoy breakfast - cereal, taost, tea/coffee and juice. oh, and a croissant.

    Clean, comfortable bed, good shower facility, competitively priced.

    Lack of proper breakfast facility, difficult parking (car park full at first), slightly "Spartan" overall. Yell website was not very user friendly, - screen changes were slow and needed "prompting", some didn't work at all.

    "The hotel was in a convenient position for our purposes. In the dark it was somewhat difficult to find and there were no visible signs directing you to the hotel or car park entrance. Extremely impersonal. Abox with no trimmings hence the price. Hotel was clean and staff helpful and efficient. Breakfast represented good value for money. Our bathroom/wet room was designed for a wheelchair user, but the water did not run away properly and if you then needed to return to the bathroom you would have got very wet feet." (97538392)

    Convenience and price for the area

    For some reason we were in a Disabled persons room. Very impersonal. Water in the wet room would not flow away so that after the shower and once dressed you could not re enter the bathroom. There was no television remote control

    me and my boyfriend needed a cheap room not far from the NIA for an overnight stay and this was the most value for money we found.the room had a comfortable bed and a lovely warm shower.

    would have preferred the shower/sink o be like an ensuite rather than actually in the bedroom but understood this as cheap price. only one electrcal socket meant couldnt charge phone/ straighten hair/ listen to music etc at the same time two or three sockets would have been ideal also tea/coffee making facilities would have been appreciated.

    "Maybe it should be made clear that there are no hot drinks facilities in the rooms in the information. A hand set for the tv might have been handy and at breakfast bananas would have been good to have with the cereal, or apricots/prunes." (97695227)

    It was clean, comfortable and basic, and it smelled fresh.

    A kettle to make a hot drink would have been welcome and also a mirror on the wall near to the plug for drying my hair.
