    "Sometimes you get what you pay for. At £38 per night for a single room, I got what I paid for, so I have no real complaints. Adequate for my needs and I would stay again." (108925686)

    Nice decor in the hotels main parts. Staff helpful and friendly. Resturant is in fact an Indian one and the food was nice. Its very close to the airport, but far enough not to be disturbed by noise. Room contained flat screen tv and clock radio. The water pressure was good and the shower was thermosatic so no real changes in water temperature during shower. Tea and coffee but no biccies!

    The rooms were a bit tired, paint coming off the walls and a slight musty smell from the bathroom - probably the shower curtain. Room contained a small wadrobe and clothes storage area. Power points were at a premium.

    Had to move rooms 4 times, showers were either not working or no pressure, ended up in a smokers room (im not a smoker) wasn't happy with the smell. Towels were to small. Poor overall.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value!

    Parking was a problem as the Car Park couldn't really accomodate the amount of cars and there was nowhere else to park.

    no alarm clock, uncomfortable double as 2 singles joined as double, one side higher than other, only bathroom light and 1 bedside light working. bathroom door stuck

    Check in was trouble free and a complimentary conntinental breakfast.

    Room had a musty damp smell coming from the bathroom. Room was overlooking the airport park and ride area and was busy throughout the night, disturbing my sleep.

    poor standard of bathroom - not a criticism of the cleaning but the standard of the fixtures, fittings and decoration. Some very strange wiring linking the light over the mirror to the extractor fan which turned the light off at inconvenient times.

    Nice big clean rooms, with huge beds. Polite and freindly staff.

    No facilities within walking distance i.e. pubs, restaurants, shops. Bar prices expensive.

    The Staff were helpful and polite

    The room was nice and very comfortable.

    The hotel is next to airport parking. when we first went to check in the girl at the desk without asking what we needed told us as we came in the door we needed to go next door and go through the gate. we thought maybe that is where we needed to park so we followed her instructions only to to find out it was airport parking. Just thought she might have made sure what we were doing before sending us next door.

    The room was great although it was missing the 2 extra pillows and the bathroom had some damp marks in the paint work.

    Some staff didn't seem to understand how the booking/checking in/out system worked and did not seem to handle customer's well. Also we had to wait an astonishing 2 hours 45 minutes for dinner. When the food did arrive we only got part of the order.

    Clean and simple accommodation providing real value for money. Great food in the Indian restaurant

    The check in process was a little slow, as was checking out. There was some construction work taking place which looked messy and dirty. Although the food in the restaurant was good, the service was very very slow, and at times pretty much non existent.

    Very attractive, very spacious room. Excellent restaurant downstairs with a good range of Indian and English food. I overheard another guest at the restaurant who was staying elsewhere remark that next time she would stay at the Day's Inn. (I think she meant for the convenience of the restaurant.) Waiting area downstairs gives good view of buses to Cardiff City Centre drawing up at the bus stop outside. Plenty of teabags, biscuits etc. were provided. Hotel furniture thoughtfully designed - open storage rather than wardrobes etc. - reducing risk of forgetting items. Nice large-ish plasma screen TV.

    Room looked out over corrugated metal roof. TV remote control was missing batteries and even when batteries were put in the distance from master bed to TV made it difficult to operate the controls while lying in bed because infrared beams did not reach receptors reliably - I had to get up. Extra toilet roll didn't arrive when first requested (was provided on second request). Noise from downstairs continued until around midnight but this was due to Six Nations tournament and late opening of restaurant, so OK. Towels were arranged on towel racks when I arrived - in my opinion it would be better to arrange them neatly folded on bed or furniture to make it crystal clear they are fresh towels. Temperature of room was a couple of degrees cooler than I might have liked. Shower pressure was somewhat weak. However none of these points were really problematic.

    "Our weekend stay, overall, was very good. The rooms were very clean, the bed comfortable and having stayed in other Days Inn's this was what we expected. I didn't realise that the breakfast was continental. (Was expecting a fry-up!)What was there for breakfast wasn't great but served its purpose. However this was not enough to put us off returning if you will have us! All the staff were very helpful and very friendly and we will be visiting again I hope!" (99819511)

    Handy to Cardiff Airport

    Only one towel in the room, requested another and some more milk as we were to;d we could not have any breakfast in the morning as we were leaving too early. Very disappointing as I paid for bed and breakfast
