    Hi, Could not fault this hotel, very clean and the people are very helpful. I would also recommend the breakfast which was most enjoyable.

    For £45 B&B the only downside was the single room was quite small, however as I was only stopping one night, it was not a problem. Everything was in good condition and in good working order, I would highly recommend this hotel

    the good point is that my room was enoumous , very big , very comfortable and with a nice view composed of 2 large windows.

    unfortunatelly the tv was too small comparing to the size of the room, it was a bit strange and mainly i stayed on my on in a twin/double room because i could not find anything else but for a room which costs 100 per night it was extremely expensive taking into consideration there was not a good wireless connection, and actually i did not see anything special in the place to charge 100 pounds per night. The manager was very polite , the breakfast was ok but nothing offered justify 100 pounds per a room. Overpriced!

    Hotel rooms and common areas were very well kept and fresh. Decor was minimalist and beautiful. For a weekend break this was a perfect choice. We have the delux double for £90 per night, which meant our room was a little larger.

    Another member of our party had a smaller room. The decor was fresh as expected but the price of £80 per night seemed a little steep for a much smaller room - perhaps £70 per night was more reasonable.

    Character of the hotel. Excellent, pleasant and very helpful staff.

    Only bad point was difficulty working the DTV - had to have the staff come up and reprogram, and it still didn't work correctly.

    Bei der Buchung wurden wir darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass es sich bei dem Zimmer um ein kleineres Zimmer handeln könnte. Bei diesem Preis handelt es sich immer um ein kleineres Zimmer, in dem man sich zu zweit kaum bewegen kann. Das hotel liegt an einer viel befahrenen Kreuzung

    Very noisy room overlooking busy road junction. Saturday night parties plentiful in Barnstaple as was reveller's noise. Shower difficult to work and hot water was brown.

    Very friendly staff and the room are kitted out well and kept very clean.

    Only thing I can fault them on was that they were a bit disorganised at breakfast which meant things took a bit longer than they should. However it was very well cooked when it did come.

    Hotel location - allows good access to town centre, Hotel presention - cleanliness and facilities excellent, Hotel staff - friendly and helpful

    Clients with limited mobility should be advised on hotel room layout and that access to rooms on second / third floor is via stairs. Visitors on holiday may prefer their breakfast timetable (0730 - 0830)to be either of a longer duration or to start 30 - 60 minutes later.

    We were enormously impressed with the Yeo Dale Hotel in Barnstaple. The Proprietor was very welcoming and up-graded our rooms - a double for us and also for our 29 year old son. The decor was tasteful and extremely well done along with the facilities. Breakfast was well prepared and cooked and served. Hopefully we'll have reason to visit Barnstaple again and will DEFINITELY be booking in to the Yeo Dale again, we'll also recommend it to friends. A big thank you to the Proprietor for a very pleasant stay.

    Nice friendly staff, shown to room and final once overchecking for room cleanliness and correct toweling etc, very close to town centre.

    Very little off road car packing facilities lets the hotel down.

    Breakfast was great on both days I can recommend the pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup. It's a shame they don't do an evening meal I'm sure it would be delicious!

    No where to unload bags as the Hotel is right on a junction and you can't stop. Car park was far too small and full when we arrived and we had to park in a pay and display car park which was a good couple minutes from the Hotel. Not ideal when arriving tired and if the weather is bad.

    Excellent hotel, very clean and well cared for.

    If I have to find a criticism it is the lack of parking which has to be timed to meet the local restrictions.

    Really refreshingly friendly, unobtrusive staff, high quality and comfortable room, excellent vegetarian options for breakfast. Wireless internet connectivity was fantastic. I will definitely look forward to staying here again when next in Barnstable :)

    "Room was quite small but contained everything we needed. The hotel was just by a set of traffic lights so there was traffic noise late into the night. However it was very handed for the centre of Barnstaple. Good for a short stay" (97866638)
