  few - the room was a little small for a long stay which meant that there was only a single upright chair. hiowever this did not detract from a very gpood stay

  Very helpful staff,and clean modern rooms. The food is excellent and only a 10 minute walk into the town centre.

  "Generally all very good!" (107674082)

  Room was spacious and clean with plenty of tea and biscuits! The breakfast was lovely!

  There were christmas parties on both nights and the music was very loud. Didn't bother us unduly as we went out the first night not long after the music started and on the second night we were too tired to be kept awake, however it may have bothered other people. Also the breakfast was only served until 9.30, even on sunday. We would have preferred a later start especially as the music was very loud until 1am. Also because of the christmas parties, the restaurant was not serving, although the chef did offer is a roast beef dinner which we went for and it was lovely!

  Food was Excellent, taste & presentation was excellent, My partner was talking about the meal for hours after!

  The room was quite tight in size for two adults and two kids and was also extremly hot at night and found it difficult to sleep even with window open!

  "Although the hotel was fairly standard in decor, the area itself was a little down market. More information regarding the situation would have been helpful. The room was quiet, being at the back, but the view was of the car park and a bungalow - rather stark. Some greenery would have made the view more attractive and acceptable. It was perhaps a little expensive, considering the area and the standard nature of the decor. (Also no cosy residents lounge - just the bar area.) I think the situation would have been mitigated if the tariff had been a little cheaper. For this sort of price I would expect something a little grander, nicely situated or more characterful."   Clean, warm and well serviced. Plentiful room supplies - tea/coffee/sweets/fruit/biscuits/bottled water.

  Soap dispensers - difficult to squeeze, no separate shampoo, especially as I wash my hair in the basin, and not the shower. I would have preferred the room to have been a double, not a quadruple.

  "As a business traveller (who doesn't have access to expensive technology) it is increasingly important to have access to the internet. This was not available and so meant that I couldn't upload work back to the office." (99164101)

  The friendliness of the staff, who were very welcoming. I liked the water and fruit in the rooms. I also liked the fact that reception was at the bar! The food was excellent and great wine list. I could really relax after a long day's work.

  Small things here - and overall really enjoyed my stay. No internet or wifi access. Shower did not have anywhere to put own shampoo/soap. No shelf in toilet by sink for wash bag. Would have been good to have a bath. TV reception wasn't great.

  "Room very well furnished for a single room. Friendly and professional staff." (99318059)

  very good standard of accommodation, warm and confortable. Very friendly and helpful staff

  remote control did not work! Needed batteries. This is my only criticism.
