    "We had a lovely stay here. Very friendly, the room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was very good. The hotel was very easy to get to and close to lots of attractions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in this area." (97212973)

    Reasonable price. Convenient location near eating places. Friendly to walkers.

    Pillows old and hard. Bedside lamp broken. Having to decide on breakfast the night before. Only one chair in big family room.

    "The location is great. Right on the square and the Clachan Pub is a 1 minute walk. Jim is a very personable host. The accommodation was clean but needs remodeling and updating. The price was high for the condition of the room." (99947754)

    The host, Jim, was very accommodating and tried very hard to make us welcome.

    For the price, the room was small and shabby. Jim just purchased the B & B and knows it needs work. The price should be lowered until the rooms are remodeled.

    "The owner who has only had this hotel since the end of 2006 was very keen to ensure that our stay met expectations. The location of the hotel is excellent for touring in the Loch Lomond area" (99744219)

    Although there were only two of us we were given a family room. The breakfasts were substantial and included cereal, full Scottish cooked breakfast, toast, tea/coffee and fruit juice.

    "superb - cannot praise the people, and the quality high enough, which represented excellent value for money. The village was warm and welcoming with excellent food.All the bars and restaurants were full in the middle of february!" (99398509)

    The lovely family atmosphere and the warm welcome extended by the owners.

    Would have like a tv in the room but understand that this is due to the fact that the owners had recently taken over - they were however very apologetic!
