Helpfully stored 2 bikes.
We did not use the restaurant because of the prices obviously aimed at corporate customers but the bar "specials" were sometimes attractive.

We love the location for seeing Cornwall. The staff is excellent, helpful and friendly. The facility is extremely clean and well kept, and the grounds and golf course are beautiful. This is our second stay and we hope to come again.

Very pleasant and well-trained staff. Good restaurant. Lovely views.
Silly cheapskate economies such as no shampoos in bathroom and major ones such as no airconditioning (couldn't leave windows open on ground floor)

Nice Hotel and facilities, good breakfast
Front desk personal was not friendly nor helpful. When I requested not to use my credit card with an electronic transaction (input numbers manually) but to swipe it I got a bad face and was told they could not swipe it even when the machine had the device to do it

Extremely helpful and attentive staff. Free internet access will/should be standard and you are leading the way. Excellent food in restaurant, for dinner. Not overly complicated but top quality ingredients, prepared to perfection. Full marks and thanks to all concerned
Breakfast buffet not of same very high quality as prepared meals.....apple juice watery and lacking taste.

Room in good decor, with a great wide bath. Food well presneted and of ecxellent quality
When arriving in the room, I noted that one of the cups still contained coffee. This made me then check the room to ensure it had been cleaned

We arrived early. The staff were very accomadating, allowing us to check in a little earlier than stated. Golf course, excellent!

Beds very comfortable-a must as i suffer with a severe back problem! Staff were probably the best experienced so far within a hotel situation,efficient,friendl,very helpfull, food fantastic. This hotel,superb!

food was excellent and the bathroom was spotlessly clean
couldnt switch the tv on easily even when told the on button was on the side of tv and it was on the top,and I would have liked a shower but had no shower cap,my fault I didnt ask at reception if they had a shower cap.

Comfortable beds. Good service. Excellent food in restaurant. Location was excellent for us.
Two minor points. Special orders at breakfast were a bit slow. The restaurant became rather noisy if there were large parties (golf societies) present.

"A very easy and painless booking method on line, matched by an excellent and very pleasant staff who took the time to explain thoroughly the salient points regarding the facilities available and what local amenities were worth visiting. The standard and variety of food served at breakfast was again first class and belied the 3 star rating of the hotel. It could easily rate 4 stars in my opinion. Very many thanks. Kind regards." Excellent views over a picturesque golf course. A quiet and peacful setting which provided the perfect ambience in which to have relaxing break.
Nothing really, however, I think that the speed bump at the entrance should be marked with a warning as it is very sudden and has quite a steep lip on it. Likewise, the approach drive could benefit from some smoothing out. You could possibly have a method of turning off the underfloor heating in the bathroom, which whilst lovely in the winter, may be a bit too hot for the summer if on constantly. Would also saved some money on the fuel bills!

"This Hotel is great as a base for exploring Cornwall. The golf course is exceptional (even though we didn't play they let us take a golf buggy to drive round the course to get a feel of the course) and the hotel rooms are really well presented. The rooms have flat screen tv with multiple channels, the bed is really big and comfortable and the bathrooms have a superb hot shower. The bar and the staff were great and they continued to serve until the last person wanted to go to bed. Breakfast was a treat with continental or traditional English breakfast looking out over the golf course and they even prepared a tray with a continental breakfast for my partner who doesn't like getting up in the morning. Overall we would definately return as we had a most enjoyable experience." (97652610)
A Hote of exceptional quality made us feel as a mixed race couple very welcome and went out of their way to accomodate all our needs and made it a very relaxing and enjoyable couple of days away.
