    Propreté de la chambre, et de toutes les fournitures.

    Bruits dans les couloirs. Les fenêtres n'isolent pas assez des bruits de la rue. Petit déjeuner un peu juste et pas très fourni. Café horrible !

    1. The interior of the hotel far surpassed the exterior! I wasn't sure what to expect from outside, but was very pleasantly surprised by the room. It was clean and comfortable. 2. The staff were always courteous and very helpful.

    1. One of the reasons for booking the hotel was internet access. Unfortunately, it was not available during any of my stay. 2. The "continental" breakfast really wasn't. It was cereal with little else - no coffee, no toast etc. 3. When I booked the room online, the booking process was very simple. However, I did add an "additional request" about an early check in. Although the site does say that requests cannot be guaranteed, it would have been nice to receive an email to say if my request could be met.

    I had booked quite late that day. The hotel couldn't acknowledge my booking on line as their main office had closed for the evening. The receptionist went out of his way however to ensure I had a room to stay in and arranged for the room assistant to prepare the room for me whilst I waited. I can't fault that kind of service.

    The cost of overnight parking was a little steep. Apart from that, no complaints.

    Good value accommodation, staff - excellent, very helpful indeed. Room pretty basic but clean tidy, everything you might need was thereeasy off-street parking if the hotel parking lot is full. Good wine bar just across the road.

    The outside looks dreadful! and does what's inside no favours at all.

    The rooms were tiny and very hot - when I asked for a fan the chap at reception laughed at me and said we didn't need fans in England as it was always cold - 35 degrees isn't cold to me. I also asked for an iron and got given one that I can only say looked like it was from the 1950's. The hotel was OK but far far too hot and that made for a very uncomfortable, unsettled night.

    Stair carpets could do with being replaced, very frayed. Breakfast not as expected. Could have done with an explanation of card-key activated energy saving room electricity switch upon check-in.

    "The hotel was more than adequate for our needs and was ideally situated for our visit to the Oval Cricket Ground." (107466312)

    The room was clean and fresh and as our room was ready,we were allowed to check in early. The staff were friendly.

    The only real comment is that the hotel lacks appeal and is unwelcoming from the outside.

    Bathroom was of Excellent standard having been well refurbished. Included continental breakfast was very adequate to start your day. Weather was very cold but heating in room made it very cosy. Towels in bathroom were very large, soft & fluffy.

    Room was very small but comfortable.

    Clean and warm. Friendly helpful staff. Conveniently situated near Oval tube station.

    The croissants served in the breakfast bar/waiting room were stale.The exterior of the hotel needs some work.Directions finding the hotel were confusing.

    "A clean, comfortable hotel, very close to the tube and just around the corner from the Adulis (a lovely Eritrean restaurant). Given the usual prices in London, I thought it value for money." (107818772)

    Cleanliness of the hotel and room were superb. The furnishings were very pleasing and the bathroom, although small was very nice.

    When checking in we were not given any details of meal times, going in or out of the hotel - and there was no literature in the rooms to give us the details that the staff had missed.

    1 Room was very small 2 View from the breakfast window was Disgusting 3 Only tea available in the bedroom 4 Bed was pushed against the window and the heater. leaving u burning if you have the heat on and cold if you don't. It also made u wake up damp from the condensation from the window and the curtain practically hanged onto the bed 5 The bed sheets were very thin 6 The bin in the bedroom was damaged 7 The staff got my booking information all wrong and even booked me under my friends name who wasn't even paying 8 Very small breakfast room and not much choice for food and cheap TESSCO brand yogurts 9 And when coming back the night of staying i had to join a Que outside the hotel at about eleven o,clock and wait for someone to let us in as we pressed the button and no body answered. so in the end we had to ring from outside on the mobile to get the staff to open the door. there was six of us waiting if it had of been raining we would of been soaked. I have stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world and if foreigners come to London for there stay and have this experience then its no wonder why people don't want to come back to the UK I do not expect this from a 4 star hotel I have never had to write a review like this before and i hope i never have to again i certainly will Not be staying here again Very poor indeed

    "Generally pretty good, it's just the breakfast that was awful. There was bog standard cereal, cold stale croissants and old looking fruit. Or toast. But the room was nice enough and had all the basics, and lovely white fluffy towels" (107804137)

    Nice clean room. Fairly comfortable bed.

    Breakfast was terrible. Also had a wake up call at 2.15am from reception that I hadn't ordered!

    room was very very small !!!!! have stayed in london many times ,a nd normaly pay 1 hundred per night , as we did with this hotel , and this was the smallest room we have stopped in . thought we would get a better room than this 1, and it would be more modern hotel.

    staff friendly, even though room was small spotlessly clean, and better facilities than some more expensive hotels we have stayed in. Bed and linen clean, bathroom very clean.

    pavement dangerous outside of building, lighting poor on steps up to front door. outside of hotel lots of building rubble etc, wouldnt take much to clean it up. breakfast facilities very very basic, some of the decorating in the lower areas very tired, carpet worn on stairs, dangerous. view from breakfast area very poor, i accept its an inner city london hotel, but a few flowers or potted plants at least gives the impression that the owner cares! Be aware, hotel on a main road, traffic noisy, but not to invasive.

    Modern, reasonably attractive room, good bed. Friendly and helpful staff, good continental breakfast with good variety of choices. Location convenient to public transportation.

    The "family suite" taken because of the prospect of extra room, turned out to be tiny. There was just enough room to get past the one double and two single beds to get to the small bathroom. Only furniture was a desk and chair . . . and one bedside table. No frigobar or other amenities except for TV. Not a part of London anyone would visit unless for a very specific reason to be there.

    Bathroom window was cracked. Route to the breakfast room was quite shabby.
