    "From a lone lady traveller I felt at ease staying at this hotel, a lovely and welcome meal was prepared after an horrendous train journey, the breakfast was lovely, I felt this hotel offered home from home facilities. Most hotels are very impersonal but I felt as I had know the owner and staff all my life. I would recommend this hotel especially as a single person." (108384484)

    Very accomodating staff - left out key for us when we going to arrive late, very friendly and helpful next day

    Price! But we don't stay in hotels very often and all hotels locally seemed the same price - seemed a lot of money for one room for a few hours! This is not a critiscm of the hotel more of hotel prices generally

    "Everything was very good, the reason for the fair comment in the working of the facilities was because of the main light and a lamp not working, I was going to report it on leaving but I forgot - sorry but it was not a problem. " (107412929)

    Found all members of hotel staff from Manager to chambermaids very friendly and nothing was to much trouble, Breakfast good selection.

    Lighting rather poor for Ladies applying make up.

    We arrived very early, and were allowed to check in as the room was empty, the breakfast was delicious and the staff could not do enough to help. We has a twin room as there were no doubles left, but it was great. We walked into Sutton to get the train into the centre of London, all in all very easy

    Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms better than expected. Quiet, since we were at the back. About 5 mins walk from Cheam centre which has a reasonable selection of restaurants and shops. Parking.

    Corridors a bit gloomy.

    Easy to locate, well situated between Sutton and Cheam, on a bus route. A courteous and informative welcome. My room (22) was decorated and furnished to a very high standard. A double bay windowed room on the ground floor looking out to the car park and main road. Very comfy bed, mattress clean and wholesome, spotless linen and towels. Small but perfect wall LCD tv, hair dryer, trouser press, very comfy armchair, desk, kettle and complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits in room. Good overhead lighting in bedroom and ample soft side lighting and desk lamp. Two large mirrors. Quality soft carpeting, comfortably warm room, telephone in room. Ensuite bathroom beautifully clean. Ample shower cubicle, large sink with good mirror and lighting with shaver socket, toilet, radiator, complimentary shower gels. The most comfortable and pleasant hotel I have stayed in for years, and I travel regularly. Sunday breakfast was between 8 - 9.30am and included in price. On offer was a full english breakfast, presented speedily and freshly prepared. Also available was a range of breakfast cereals, brown and white bread/toast, Activia yogurts, orange juice, fresh ground coffee, selection of jams and marmalades.

    The water in the shower was only just hot enough to use - I think other guests must have used all the hot water.

    BIG Comfie single bed in a single room, good size room. Good size telly.

    Rooms on the west side are very cold and walls are a bit thin.

    Clean,tidy with good basic facilities in the room. Bathroom with good facilities. friendly staff and a good English breakfast.

    Poor soundproofing to ajoining room. Couple of ladies came back about midnight and I could have heard much of what they said, if I had wished. They got up at 5am and made a great deal of noise before leaving early.

    Very friendly staff, rooms nicely decorated, teamaking facilities, lovely fresh and new bathroom, excellent breakfast, parking space

    rooms rather small, bathroom tiny with not enough shelves, no hooks on bathroom door for hanging housecoat etc., windows opened with difficulty, during daytime one could see into bedroom from the garden (a nett curtain would be helpful)
