  Good value at £79 for the 1 night and if we could get this rate every time, we would far rather stay in an apartment than a hotel as you have more privacy, more space and more options i.e. cook for yourselves; take-aways etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would really recommend it.

  Not that we used it as we only stayed 1 night but the washing machine had bits falling off it when we investigated where everything was in the kitchen! The shower in the bathroom was appalling! Absolutely no pressure whatsoever and it felt like washing in a very fine drizzle!! Please get this fixed or put power showers in the apartments as soon as possible!!

  "Fortunately the good points did outweigh the bad, as our main criteria for choosing this place was the location and the apartment was in the most convenient place for our purposes. " (107144633)

  Convenient for the town as well as the University of Reading campus as the purpose was accomodation during exam period as well as access to the shops. Easier to relax as well as study in the lounge area. Better than a hotel in terms of being able to make drinks/food whenever you need to. Bed was comfortable, apartment was fairly clean and tidy although maybe in need of 'freshening-up'.

  The parking is an issue. It was not especially clear at booking that there was severely limited spaces, ie. It didn't say the number of spaces available is so few in comparison to the number of apartments. I believe it was something like 9 spaces to 38ish apartments? We would certainly have appreciated a better indication of where to park overnight and the cost of an overnight stay in a public carpark nearby. When we arrived a guest had parked in two spaces which was not helpful! It should have been made clear to them that this is unacceptable. The safe where keys are left for collection should be highlighted better, although one of us had stayed before and new where to find it, we did meet a guest who hadn't found it and was sat waiting for assistance when we arrived! The shower in our apartment was completely unacceptable, there was no pressure from the water and the shower head was severely obstructed by limescale making it almost impossible to shower properly! The towel rail was on super-high constantly(!) which meant that the small apartment got very hot, as well as the fact that one of us was burnt by it causing a nasty wound. Finally, the woman on reception was not all that friendly on our departure. Although she seemed busy, she did not stop to ask how our stay was, nor whether eveything was ok etc.

  "good for money value, helpful personeel, lack of staff in reception desk a slight handicap, made up by up to date facilities in the apartment and the care-free atomsphere. The street noise is sometimes annoying." (97393669)

  "area quite rough nice idea not completed with any quality" (99548307)

  the modern style and comfortable beds

  very shoddy workmanship ie sockets loose appliances not working light bulbs out, access to turn on the bath taps was abosolutely impossible without actually standing in the bath - same to turn off or adjust the temp - ok if the water is not too hot. no safety features in the bath rooms 2 out of 4 of us slipped in the bath rooms.
