  Very well presented and clean. Lovely location and views. Good breakfast, and from what was observed, equally good dining.

  Too warm indoors. Verged on the unpleasant and would have been so but for the fact the room could be opened up to the breeze coming over the lake. Some restaurant staff seemed to have difficulty understanding and speaking English.

  "I will NEVER stay in this hotel again. I only wish I had read the reviews on tripadvisor.com before my stay, they are absolutely correct that this hotel is TERRIBLE." (97104925)

  The room was terribly maintained, the water was brown, the bathroom was in an extremely poor state or repair, the decor of the hotel was appalling, the food was mediocre, the wait time at reception was unacceptable, the services within the hotel were poor.

  one or two members of staff were friendly and evening meal was nice.

  TV not tunned in, hair dryer very old, could not put the ironong board down, unhealthy beakfast (tinned oranges and grapefruit) the only fruit on offer, shower old and a tricle of water, gym facitlaties old, in general everything was very old and for the price disappointing. I trusted the aa rating scale not after this stay.

  "No real complaints about this place. The location was nice and the rooms were a good size. All staff that we had contact with were helpful and pleasant. My overall impression was that the whole place was in need of a refurb' Paintwork was yellowing and bathroom tiles were cracked. Decor and fittings were comfortable but again in need of updating.. Everything was 1970s style and I would guess that this was probably when the place was built and hasnt changed since." (97233907)

  rooms were a good size and comfortable. staff friendly helpful and efficient.

  Decor looking very tired and in need of a good re decoration. Hot breakfast was not really very hot.

  "Our stay was short but very comfortable. We ate in the hotel restaurant the first night, which was reasonable, and it was great not to have to go outside and look for a place to eat after a long journey. The second night we were recommended to a local Indian restaurant on a boat, within walking distance, as there was a wedding on in the hotel. The location is beautiful, though you would need transport to get there." (97753300)

  Spacious and comfortable. Breakfast excellent and staff friendly and helpful.

  The sliding wardrobe door in room was stuck which was annoying but not a major problem.

  "The location was very convenient for our purpose (a functon at RMA Sandhurst). The view over the lake was gorgeous. The leisure facilities (pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi) were of a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable. The room was dingy - not dirty but dull and very beige. It could be improved by some dimmed lighting - particularly bedside reading lights, and a general redecoration with lighter, brighter colour scheme." (99222059)

  Lovely view of the lake - shame the hotel doesn't make more use of it eg breakfast tables outside if fine.

  Hotel generally very tired looking. It could do with a good smarten up. Shower got stuck on both mornings - obviously a regular occurence judging by staff reaction.

  Good location. Gym and pool facilities good.

  Hotel is in need of refurbishment. Many features of room and bathroom showed considerable signs of wear and tear. Limited selection of healthy options for breakfast.

  "We arrived faily late and the restaurant was due to close but we were able to enjoy a good meal and wine without being rushed. We found all the staff from reception, restaurant, bar to the cleaners very pleasant and helpful. They quite rightly deserve praise. Parking very easy and we had bedroom overlooking lake- wonderful even in the rain.We also made use of facilities ie bowling which was an added bonus to our short stay." (99889309)

  Easy to find. Facilities good. Food very good. Staff extreamly nice

  We found our beds were uncomfortable but everything else was 10 out of 10
