    "The four of us enjoyed a good stay, the food was great and rooms very clean" (108610165)

    The Hotel was well run in a beautiful location, even though there was a big party in the grounds one evening we were not diturbed or interupted as things were very well organized

    The seating in the lounges needed to be more comfortable and relaxing this was the only drawback to a lovely stay

    Hotel location VG, rooms/presentation VG. Staff excellent, food excellent - would highly recommend.

    A few minor repairs required in the bathroom; one sink tap very loose and shower head would not stay at a usable angle.

    A nice country style hotel in an exclelent location. This place has lots of potential. Food was good, staff very good.

    This hotel is awaiting a much needed face-lift. The carptet in my bedroom was dirty, as was that in the bathroom. The bathroom needs modernisation. The bedroom was fair, and with furniture appropriate to the country house hotel style. Public spcaces were cosy but again, awaiting improvement.

    Very friendly, helpful staff. Main building very attractive and comfortable. Excellent food.Our room was spacious and comfortable with lovely views.

    My elderly mother was with us. She found it rather difficult walking from the main building to her room because surface of walkways was uneven.

    fine food excellent service rooms old but in very nice decor linen and bathroom towels excellent small touches made the stay super view from our bedroom. very good value for money.

    Friendly, helpful, patient staff Good heating, good bath and shower. Gorgeous views, Lovely building. Lovely tea facilities in room especially tea pot, varied daily biscuit pack.

    Mattrass a bit worn, tiny lift with stiff door.

    Lovely location. Friendly and helpful staff. Initial presentation excellent. Good car parking. Breakfast options excellent. Breakfast food good and plentiful.

    Poor lighting in room. Room slightly outdated. Bathroom soundproofing dreadful; TV reception very poor. Hairdryer was expected. Dining area a bit austere. Seemed lack of staff for breakfast.

    "The hotel was in a lovely spot with beautiful views all around. The room was really comfortable with a sitting area and wardrobes with plenty of hangers. and a nice en suite. We wished that we had the time for a longer stay. We would certainly book this hotel again." (97617408)

    The television aerial was broken and the shower taped up, but we were told the shower was going to be replaced soon.

    Old world country hotel the room we stayed in was clean and very well decorated with fantastic views over the hills.

    A country house hotel - not a chain! A big bedroom, dining room has clearly been brought 'up to date', modern without detracting from the old house feel.

    Bedroom looks a little tired.

    overlooked staff / service area where we could view staff eating , smoking, using mobiles so had to drop blinds each time we used the bathroom , for our privacy.
