    My son and I were staying overnight as part of the weekend of WRC Rally GB. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was cooked early for my son and I plus the other rally fans and marshalls so that we could leave early for the early stage of the rally. The food was very good and service at meal times quick.

    Only critisism was that the paintwork on the window frames and skirting boards in the bedroom needed some attention.

    Staff very helpful Food very good We were not disturbed by functions taking place.

    Harsh lighting in restaurant. Bar area could have been a bit more comfortable.

    "Erstaunlich fanden wir, dass wir in einem zugeteilten Zeitfenster abendessen konnten. Wir wurden aufgefordert, in der Lounge zu warten, bevor wir im Restaurant platziert wurden - wo ein einziger weiterer Tisch besetzt war." (108574450)

    Idyllisch im Grünen gelegenes Herrenhaus mit britischem Charm. Herrschaftliche Zimmer. Nettes Personal.

    Das Abendessen war ganz und gar ungewürzt.

    Good value, not too modern, not too busy, good menu , but most of all very quiet.

    Could do with a bit of re-decorating

    Extemely friendley staff. Great breakfast and service. Big bedroom with lovely furniture. Plesant sitting rooms and bars.

    Peeling wallpaper in bedroom. Mouldy shower curtain and bathroom in desperate need of updating but it appears refurbishment is ongoing as the other people in our party had a lovely new bathroom!

    Very friendly service. Good room, nice size, nicely finished.

    Food service was a bit slow. Main dinner at 30 mins. ok, but 20-25 mins for boiled eggs a bit long.

    Nice location and character of building

    The signs from Hirwan were not as big as from the other way and were difficult to see at night so keep your eyes peeled!
