    Liked the obvious recent refurbishment in restaurant and oak floors, also wired internet and flat screen tv in bedroom. Great garden for outside drinks

    A gem of a hotel in a desert of accommodation in that area. Comfortable and stylish. Quiet restaurant. Good parking.

    Slightly mouldy smell in my room. I was in an outside room.

    very spacious room and the option of having a very nice hotel evening meal or pub grub just round the corner

    the no-smoking restrictions(BROWNS FAULT NOT THE HOTEL) cramped breakfast area but very pleasant staff

    large room, bit too hot in the room and bathroom, central heating on in the middle of summer!!

    Need a mug in the room, when you fancy tea/coffee, the cups are too small to enjoy the refreshments. side light not working in room

    "The hotel was perfectly placed for our visit, the staff were friendly, the tea/coffee facilities in the room were very welcome and as we had our dog, the room in the stable block was very convenient for him." (99151040)

    As we had our dog with us, we felt the accommodation in the stable block was excellent.

    "Was disappointed with the cooked breakfast. Did not include baked beans or tinned tomatoes etc so this made the breakfast very dry. Didn't have breakfast for the second day because of this. Went else where. Room was adequate but could do with a new shower head holder as was broken and needed a balancing act to stay inplace." (99087000)

    "The dinner was very good and the food served at breakfast was also very good however the service was slow and we had to wait about 40 minutes for our food even though there were less than a dozen people in the restaurant. The one waitress on Saturday was finding it difficult on her own. Coffee was poor and tasted like instant even though I could see that it was being made freshly. Busier on Sunday but service much better. On the plus side it was nicer than being in a huge chain hotel." (99376444)

    "Nice garden, lots of walks to take the dog on,Location was quiet for good nights sleep. Breakfast was fair, would have been nice to have had cereals and juice displayed so you could help yourself. Over all good for one night stay." (99744164)

    Easy ground floor acsess to room perfect when travling with dog.

    The shower ran hot and cold, very painful.

    convenient to our relatives, room was large enough and comfortable and the meals were more than adequate

    room tended to be rather cold and it took time for the radiatore to make an effect.

    The bathroom was not clean the shower screen was hanging off the bath. The headboard was also hanging of the wall, which caused an awful racket every time i moved in bed.
