    "Overall myself and my partner were very happy, like I said it is a beautiful building and the staff were friendly. I would not let the fact that there were a few issues with the bathroom and carpet in the room stop me staying again. I would infact say that we will definatley go again. " (108313076)

    The hotel was beautifull, the building and decor were stunning. The staff were friendly and always said "hello" if they were passing. The room was beautiful again, the decor was stunning. The breakfast was beautifuly cooked and was laid out in an easy manor to find and again the staff were friendly.

    The only bad points to staying was the bathroom was not cleaned very well, we found what looked like split coffee on unit above the toilet and on the toilet roll there was the dreaded pubic hair. Also in the room it self there were dead flys and a dead wasp, so it didnt look like it had been hoovered in a while.

    Very helpful staff, good location set in a nice village on the bus route into chester.

    "The hotel was in an excellent quiet location for travel to Chester and Wrexham. All staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were also good, with friendly, efficient service and a varied menu choice. All of the facities I needed were available at the hotel, including wi-fi. The en-suite bathroom was a good size and the bedroom was very comfortable. I will happily return to the hotel" (97969916)

    "The Service was appauling. Lack of atmosphere and the staff had no sense of style. It felt out of date and a bit old fashioned in the hotel itself. Staff behaviour and attitude was unprofessional and insular. There was no reception staff in the evenings past a certain time and there was no large lounge/bar area in the lobby to cater for the maximum amount of guests the hotel can hold. We disliked it here and normally never have a problem with a Best Western. This hotel is at the lower end of a 3* for service and pleasantries." (97454306)

    The bed was very comfy!

    The staff were miserable and very out of touch. The hotel had no atmosphere and the reception was never manned in the late evenings. Not a very pleasant group of people running the hotel. They behave like they own a 5* star, state of the art hotel and yet they are running a small, old fashioned, 3* hotel, where not alot goes on. Worst Best Western I've stayed at yet. Such a shame, as I've stayed at this hotel chain all over the world before and never had a problem.

    "Hotel is nicely located in a quiet area but with easy access to the main routes in North Wales. The restaurant bth with food and service was excellent and easily the best I have experienced in a hotel in the last 2 years." (99684090)
