    price was good and the breakfast was nice.

    Staff not professional and disorganised, staff in the restaurant didn't know the menu option or the prices. corridor had a bad odor and was very noisy at night.

    1. Small room. 2. Internet booking ref we supplied could not be found on the system, due to when the ebooking is retrieved, the booking is then given a inhouse booking ref. Due to this we could not be found on the system untill the next morning, needs to be remedied.

    There was an overall caring attitude from check in to check out and a genuine concern for the well being of the guest. For me this was a real find.

    The hotel was good overall

    The shower in the room was not very good at all, the water pressure was very low and the angle of te shower head meant you had to hold it so the water was actual going on to your body which made it difficult to shower

    when booked on the internet it looked like the breakfast was included in the bill but when i was checking out and had to pay the breakfast wasnt so my bill ended up alot more then what it siad on the internet. i think this was very unfair and misleading and will not be coming back to saty as turned out very expensive.

    Nice gardens to the rear to sit out and relax.

    The room was very hot even with the windows open. Shower was useless. Unwanted wake up call in the morning at 9am with someone coming into the room - presumably to clean.??! We thought check out time was 11am.

    Good location. Easy to book.

    Facilities poor, in particular not enough towels and too small, TV did not work, Room was shabby compared to other similar price hotels used this year. service very poor. At breakfast they ran out of water for the tea machine, fried eggs, bacon, tea spoons. Staff looked stressed and unable to cope with a very average number of guests making very ordinary requests. When the person next to me asked to move table because they were next to the open door and was getting cold the waitress seemed unable to cope. Similarly when I asked for a tea spoon because there were none with the T cups or on the tables the waitress said sorry she was too busy

    We had a large room, but the bathroom was very small in comparison. After our first night the manageress knocked on our door to enquire if every thing was ok, I mentioned that the mattress was a bit saggy and she said she would sort it out, within ten minutes the old mattress was removed, a new one installed and freshly made up! fantastic service. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with a huge amount to choose from. We would stay here again.

    The room was quite as requested in the online booking.

    The shower head was at right angles to the hose making showering difficult as the water sprayed over the wall and not me

    "My wife and I paid £73.00 for the room only (1 night. Perhaps this is a very good rate for the "London Area" Maybe I am possibly being a little harsh with my bad points. Would certainly consider your hotel if staying in the area but in a better room if for more than 1 night." (107567789)

    Both "touch me" bedside lights did not work - forgot to inform reception upon departure. No clock in room No biscuits with the tea / coffee making facilities

    Breakfast superb.

    Check in staff where rude and insisted that i pay 155 pounds plu a 60 pound deposit if i wanted to pay cash. NO WHERE on your website did it say this and i did not have any extra cash or credit cards on me. I was not impressed and the lady helping was rather rude when handling this. My brother then had to give his card as a pre auth. SHOCKING!

    The hotel was well priced for a one night stay in the area. Room was clean and a great size. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was more than value for money.

    Room service was advertised in a number of places but when ordered was told it was not on offer and they would see what they could do. Food did come but not an efficient service. We asked for a taxi to be called, choice of taxi firm was not satisfactory, driver was on his mobile phone, driving at unsafe speeds and didn't not know the area, I had to phone the people we were meeting for directions as we were not from the area. Overall for the price of the journey not acceptable. Of course this is out of the hotels control but this is a company they obviously use and recommend.

    Nice room, fairly recently refurbished. Nice bed line, comfortable bed

    A bit cold in the bathroom, water only just hot enough in the shower, some shabby and dated bits of the hotel, couldn't get the free wi fi to work

    alcohol available 24 hrs, matresses were firm and wi fi in rooms for free which is very handy for business users and i myself found very useful

    charging for parking and trying to charge extra 6 quid for room which was to be fair very easily rectified

    The room was very nice and clean with all facilities we needed.

    Unfortunatedly we were unable to have a double bed. The room we were in was just next to a fire door which was quite noisy but fortunately no night larks on our floor so not as disturbing as it could have been.

    Very clean, excellent surroundings

    Some noisy residents - I suspect that there are university students residing there sometimes, maybe some "noise patrols" at night by the hotel staff would help!

    no air con. the telephone didnt work - they did offer to repair but we lived without it. they only ave us one set of towels and the when i called them in the morning they took over 30 mins to bring it to me!

    Reception, lobby & ground floor areas very nice. Well signposted on local roads and good access to car park. Nice garden area. Helpful reception staff.

    Room in rear annexe was a little cramped.
