    all staff pleasant. comfortable clean room. nice and quiet accomadation. good evening meal

    check in was very difficult as computer errors has occurred with key cards. had to wait 30 minutes then let in room. had to collect key card on our return 2 hours later. TV remote didn't work was quickly replaced. lamp didn't work told couldn't be sorted as bulb not available.

    Was pleasently surprised by the size of the room. Everything spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed with nice pillows!Everything you needed in the room including complimentary toiletries.

    Absoluteley NO bad points about the room.

    Restaurant/bar food only fair; not a good choice of snacks/light meals Breakfast closes at 9.00am No covered access from accommodation area to restaurant/bar area, and no umbrellas available

    Have stayed at there before. As usual, good standard of cleanliness and comfort in the bedroom. Staff in the restaurant/bar courteous and helpful. A pleasant overnight stay.

    Clean and comfortable rooms, efficient and friendly staff, relaxing pub atmosphere with excellent good value food available.

    Unfortunately we did have a false fire alarm in the middle of one night, which we would hope was a one-off!

    "No problems, cleanliness perfect throughout, would have preferred cooked breakfast even though continental was nice, no croissants, not prepared enough, had to ask for things frequently as well as others, but cooked price too much!" (107894235)

    Nice greeting, no problems with staff

    Booking messed-up one night before trip, somehow details on date was mixed up their end, even got written confirmation of booking and got a telephone call at mid-night night before, which was very inconvenient and worrying.

    overall very good ,clean tidy .not a bad price..

    small piont ...brekfast included but not full english...£21.00 per couple i think was a bit to much..we dont very often have them but when we go away we like to have a treat...

    Little out of town if travelling by public transport - no immediate facilities other than the pub on site

    "Be warned that you need to ask for a vegetarian hot breakfast when you book in as they don't seem to have any provision as standard. You can't hear the traffic even though it's next to the A31. Beds comfortable and rooms clean. Also stocked with fairtrade tea and coffee." (97460777)

    "Excellent value for money. Modern clean room which was spacious and well equiped. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to a busy road but there was no road noise inside the rooms and air conditioning meant that there was no need to open the window which could have resulted in a noise problem. Overall I would strongly recommend the hotel." (99074459)

    "Directions clear so hotel easy to find. Separate lodge accommodation warm ,clean and comfortable-good supply of extras-drinks/biscuits/shampoo etc.Having own access key helpful. There was no information in reception about localarea/directions to places etc which would have been helpful. Staff friendly and accommodating.     "The rooms were great and well worth the money we paid. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the variety of choice on the menu was excellent - i recommend the fishermans platter to anyone. The full english breakfast in the morning was equally as good and set us up for a long day ahead at a Trampolining competition final. The staff were all lovely and accomodated our every needs. I would definitely stay here again." (99149538)
