Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food. Excellent for buses, which we used to go to night time Flower Parade to avoid parking in St. Helier.
The fan did not work in our bathroom, which meant the mirror steamed up. I did mention this to the hotel but only to be helpful and not in any way as a complaint.

Staff throughout the hotel were excellent and extremely friendly and attentive. Room was excellent. Restaurant food was superb.

excellent cleanliness, first class customer service - nothing too much trouble - just had to ask and they would oblige, excellent menu choices
room very warm - but might be something to do with my age!

"The Pontac House Hotel is well situated in a quieter area of the island, and is a good base to get to all parts of Jersey, but is probably more suited to visitors who have a car. The local bus service does stop outside the hotel, and there is a regular service. The food in the restaurant is of a good standard, with the menu changing daily." (97633262)
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a pleasant, quiet situation, with ample parking spaces.

"An interesting first experience of the British on holiday. 'our table' and 'his seat' and 'her seat' napkins. We appreciated the very energetic and hospitable host and staff. We wanted a base from which to contact relatives. Pontac House fulfilled this role adequately. It was useful having a restaurant at the hotel." (99673909)
Spacious, clean, tidy, good location, parking, pool.
Mattress lumpy and at end of useful life. Phone wakeup did not work according to the instructions. Alternative radio alarm clock worked.

"We stayed at the Pontac Hotel in March 2007. Its in a lovely position across the road from the beach. The weather was very bad for us but in the summer months it would be a lovely spot. The staff were all very friendly and did their best to make you comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. We stayed in an attic room which had a very small bathroom. The room was clean if not a bit tired but the view was fantstic. There are rooms with balconies and I would try and get one of them next time. Overall for the price we paid it was good value for money." (99320144)
The Pontac Hotel is in a very good position across the road from the beach and the staff were all very friendly.
We stayed in one of the attic rooms which was small especially the bathroom. The shower was hot but had no power.

"Lovely quiet hotel with an older clientel who obviously come back regularly." (107510175)
Very friendly, traditional (slightly old fashioned but in a nice way!) hotel. All the staff were excellent and very attentive. The hotel was good value for money, in a lovely quiet position directly overlooking the beach. The swimming pool was a bonus.
None really except the room was rather hot at night.
