    Goede servive, vriendelijke medewerkers.

    Ik had bij de reservering gevraagd om 1 rokenkamer (we hadden 2 kamers gereserveerd). Deze kon niet woreden gegeven omdat er geen rokenkamers vrij waren. We hadden al ruim een half jaar geleden gereserveerd.

    EXTREMELY professional and friendly staff (above all at the reception desk). Take it from me! I have been in the travel/tourism trade for almos 40 years'.

    This is only a minor point: a slightly larger selection of cheese and/or ham with the breakfast buffet would make it perfect.

    We were kept awake until 1.30am by drunk guests in the garden (they were at the holiday Inn for a wedding reception)They were screaming and shouting from 1030pm until 1.45am. I phoned reception to complain at 1.10am. The receptionist didn't apologise, she just said, "I am getting the barman to bring them inside" 6 hours later when I was checking out I raised the issue with the person then on reception. She said there were several complaints that night, but that's what normally happens when there are large groups!!! I pointed out that although large groups make the Holiday Inn a lot of money - particularly when they are drinking all night, the rest of the paying guests have every right not to be disturbed.     Good options of drinks at Bar. Good, clean reception and parking area.

    Toilets were not well maintained and when this was reported to staff they were slow to respond. I reported the issue twice without getting an immediate response. Cooked breakfast was cold and sometimes staff slow to replenish food trays. Drinks and especially mini bar too expensive.

    Room very clean, especially the bathroom. Basic accommodation but with everything I needed for the one night stay

    Room very cold during the day and very hot at night - presumably the warm-air heating only comes on overnight

    "We enjoyed our stay but we think that the lounge is not very comfortable to sit in in the evening, the coffee is very expensive and also the food so always looking for somewhere else to eat which is not always easy. The Lounge should be Non Smoking. The Hotel could be updated with a bit of decoration." (99807971)

    It was comfortable and warm, but a bit ragged round the edges.

    We were put right at the back of the Hotel, it was a long walk and no lift's so very arkward with luggage.

    "It would have been good to have the choice of a room at the front or rear of the building. The front faces a busy road and roundabout. We were lucky and had a room at the rear overlooking the car-park, were not aware of traffic noise. Booked an Executive Room on-line which was confirmed but a standard room had been reserved for us. This was changed on check-in without any hassle." (99372794)

    Executive room in a quiet corridor - no banging doors. Very clean although a little threadbare. Very comfortable, plenty of hot water, mini bar and ironing facility, had everything we needed. Staff very helpful, courteous and efficient.

    Hotel could do with a refurbishment in places but this certainly did not spoil our stay - we have used this hotel before.

    The bed was very comfortable
