    "Pleasant." (108679585)

    We were offered an upgrade on arrival, but as I would be sharing with my 17 yr old son, it was inappropriate!

    whilst room very good for myself and 17yr old son, there were slight problems with fixtures ie, toilet would only flush with 'large button', not the half flush, so water wasted and some lightbulbs not working. Sheets could also have been long enough to tuck in so they didn't move as you turned over at sleep! Would have liked some soap in bathroom. As upgrade was not convenient, perjaps an offer of free or half-price breakfasts would have been an alternative offer.

    Helpfulness of the staff, they were very pleasant.

    The room was basic and the walls are very thin. I was awoken at 0300 by the man next door snoring. Spot lights in the ceiling did not provide enough light and the TV reception was appalling.

    The Hotel is lovely in a great location; our room was perfect with an excellent view of Bristol’s architecture and natural landscape. It was very comfortable and served really good champagne at £40 a bottle! My boyfriend and I were too lazy to walk 20-30mins into the town center to visit Bristol’s museum which is currently hosting the Banksey exhibition, it was £7 in a cab and were there in 5 minutes.

    Had to pay £10 to use the car park

    Good Quality

    Bar prices along with restraunt incourage you to go elseware losing revenue for Hotel. Spa Hotel? Just swim pool did not have steam /sauna or any other facilities.

    Excellent room - Very well appointed. Above my expectations in every respect. Good breakfast. Not rushed. Liked the 12 noon checkout time.

    helpful staff nice spacious room nice view and good pool.

    Poor tv chanel choice and bad recerption, No bath only a shower, initially soap missing from room and not enough milks left for teas and coffee. No way of drying your swim things after your swim (could use one of those spin dryer things as need to put them back into a case). Food took a long time in the restaurant despite there not beeing many customers obvious ormally not a problem but had a starving two year old with us who got board waiting. Otherwise very good meal.

    deco and facilities were excellant. walking distance from centre and train station was minimal

    The room was tidy, clean and good looking. Good space and nice shower. Large glass windows and it has a fridge.

    It took a while to get an ironing board from room service. The bed was a little noisy and the bed cover was not placed properly. You can not open the window. The swimming pool was a little dark and creepy.

    It was warm and clean and the staff were friendly. We had a lovely view of the church and the location was excellent.

    The bar staff didn't know how to make a bloody mary, or charge for them. It took ages to get them but they were delicious when we did. Also there was only one bath robe for a king size room which seemed a bit odd.

    Breakfast is very good and is included in the very reasonable room rate. Parking on site is very convenient and safe.

    Bed is a bit too soft for me but should be OK for most.

    Quick and efficient check-in. Helped by having a very fast, welsh-speaking receptionist!

    Upon check-out, I wasn't given a carpark pass and had to return to the hotel.

    "The layout and design of the hotel was extremely easy to navigate around, the staff were helpful & friendly and the room was clean and readily available. The storage after we had departed was incredibly handy also. The only downside was the time it took to find our reservation." (108053349)

    Good fourstar hotel, pool mand gym are open 24 hours so no need to rush to get to a workout.

    room service was OK but food a little cold and both times the cutlery was omitted from the try.

    booking in was very quick and easy on the internet,also on arrival. Staff helpful, room very clean

    cost a mortgage to have drinks in the bar!!! very very over priced and v.a.t. also added on drinks? no internet connection in rooms only in certain points in the hotel,Basic television package i.e.no movie channels to select from also no points of interest for guests to visit

    Breakfast was really good. Personal was very helpfull. I liked it.

    The first day I did not say anything but my towel rack was not fastened dow and one side came off. The next day it was just set in place without repair and as I touched it the towels fell to the floor again. The toilet paper holder was not secure on the wall and the paper fell on the floor. I did tell the front desk as I left about the needed repairs.

    "Overall very Good!!! ...but the areas for improvement would be.... 1) I found your policy of zero refund for all cancellations off putting and harsh. I think if i had of wanted to book our stay with you any more than a week or two ahead I would probably of looked for a different hotel, as it was I was fairly certain I would not need to cancel. 2) The additional £8 per day parking was an unexpected cost. 3) One of the main reasons we booked to stay in your hotel was for the Spa facilities, but when we got there we were told it is closed on Sundays and Mondays!!
