    friendly and clean

    No ensuite toilet. No desk/table to work at in the room B'fast not avail at reqd time. Very hot so window open but very noisy traffic/pedestrians into the small hours.

    Friendly and helpful staff. Bed linen was clean and the room was tidy.

    Overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor. Breakfast was served without any consultation as to what I actually wanted. The was no soap etc in the room. Parking facilities are non existent.

    "For £60 per night in July it was value for money. Only fifty yards from sea front and beach. Very close to railway station. Lots of entertainment nearby. Forget the chineese (Jade Garden) across the road from pub. " (107656259)

    Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff and dog.

    Too many stairs. Lack of rooms with wc.

    Hotel was clean. Staff were friendly.

    There was a shower in the room but no toilet that did not help with early morning needs. Shower did not work very well. Did not feel homely in the room, i.e no pictures etc. lack of parking.

    Nicely renovated room.

    The toilets were located in the corridor. I had definitely expected shower AND toilet in a room with the label "En-Suite". With the description when booking I had expected a B&B or Guesthouse - definitely not a room on top of a Pub! If I had known, I would have booked elsewhere. I feel like I was fooled by a less than accurate description...

    "I travelled with my teenage daughter and we both loved the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The live entertainment was extremely good; we both enjoyed it very much. The full English Breakfast is very filling!! and an excellent start to the day. We were both very impressed with the Sun Inn and would definately look for accomodation there should we return for another weekend break." (97564404)

    room was shocking, rubbish beds, shower dribbled when on, shared toilet across the landing, tv hardly worked, very little of a mirror about 9inches of it, was not shown fire exits, had no choice of breakfast !!

    well appointed and permit supplied to allow parking in an otherwise difficult position

    Cups not refreshed after day on , bed not made, bin not emptied therefore no service provided within bedroom. Light fitting hanging from ceiling and inadequate bulb giving poor lighting in the room. Ensuite toilet not available met other @partly clothed guests! in corridor during the night

    Lovely double room, clean and well equipped. Good breakfast. Let us book for one night only at a weekend which no-one else seemed to do. Good location as well, close to shops and beach.

    The shower in the twin room wasn't very helpful - who wants to shower in front of someone they don't want to share a bed with?! Although the location in terms of positioning was good, the locality / neighbourhood is a bit dodgy!

    Breakfast was organised for 7.30am in order to catch ferry. it didn't materialise! The room was incredibly noisy from pub music below and street noise.

    Clean Rooms,close to Esplanade

    Poor service,no toilet in en-suite,had to go along the corridor.Rooms up 3 flights of stairs.No parking street parking with permit 5 minutes walk away.Poor breakfast,no choice-full English only,no cereals.No choice of time owing to school run.

    Cleanliness was good

    In the room, there was no chair, bedside table or bedside lamp. There was a blind, no curtains.The toilet was down the corridor. There was a cooked breakfast, but no fruit or cereal.
