    Good directions and plenty of parking. Helpful staff, lift to bedrooms. Comfortable room. Good food.

    Additional £10 for breakfast was a bit expensive. All the other hotels & B&Bs that we used over 9 nights included breakfast.

    A wonderful location. Excellent Japenese restaurant which was very diferent.

    Bath fittings were very worn and need attention.

    Very clean room. Tea and coffee facilites, TV and en-suite facilities excellent. 24 hour check in very comforting as I didn't know what traffic would be like to get there. Directions to hotel good.

    "I booked in mid afternoon and my room was ready . I checked in and out easily so my 1 night was just what was needed. My car was safe in the car park. From my past experience of business and holiday tavel I would rate your hotel as very good of its type" (107224817)

    I thought the surroundings were very beautiful English countryside. I enjoyed the possibility of having Japanese food for a change and found the dining room staff helpful and attetive.

    I was on my own so a little lonely but this is my problem and I did talk to fellow guests . The pleasantness of the hotel more than made up for the soliteryness.

    "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. As a lone female traveller, I felt secure and was well looked after. The accommodation was basic - conference style, but I did book on a budget deal. I will stay here again when visiting Swindon to use the National Monuments Record again. The restaurant was well-priced and the food very good." (108005401)

    Clean,friendly, and extremely well placed for tourism and business. The room was basic but comfortable with all the facilities one would expect.

    The rooms are clean, the Japanese restaurant is excellent. Great value for money.

    Outdated bathrooms and no fitness area.

    NIce and clean. The free wi-fi was a huge plus as well. Checked-in late so had to use room service but to my suprise food was very tasty and portion sizes were good.

    No complaints!

    Clean, tidy, comfortable, good bed, all you want for a one night stay really

    Hot water was very hot, there was a warning notice, but boy, it was hot. Internet Connection was there, but signal strength was weak, not allowing my laptop to connect adequately.

    "The room was sub-standard with a three quarter sized bed being passed off as a double. The view of the beautiful lake was nowhere to be seen, instaed there was a view of the back of a building. we left in dismay." (99801975)

    Nothing. It is nowhere near the images portrayed on the web site. A complete disappointment!

    It is essentially a conference style hotel, large and impersonal, built like a stickle brick.

    "The hotel and staff were really nice. As it poured down all weekend we got bored as there are no facilities other then drink and food at the hotel itself. If you like Japanese food then great, you have come to the right hotel as this hotel specialises in it. The European dishes all have a Jananese twist to them (hence why they are on both menus). As I am 4.5 months pregnant I couldn't eat the sushi or, as it turned out, any of the Japanese food so went for the European chicken dish. Although it looked good when it arrived, it left alot to be desired and I ended up going to bed hungry. Same for the breakfast, we paid the " (99110247)

    The room was nice and warm

    We booked a delux double which was nice although it seemed like a normal double room to me. It would have been intresting to see what a plain double room was like to see the difference.

    Pleasant setting, quiet.

    Shower head at a height for those below five feet four. Very poor service in restaurant with restricted menu. Refused a table at dinner despite being a resident. TV in room old and tiny.

    Nice location in countryside, Fridge was very useful

    I booked a single room which was very small with a single bed. I asked to be moved to a double room which was more expensive but much better
