    "We had a nice time and thought the hotel was ok and had some good points. The hotel definitely wasn't the high point, fortunately the exhibitions that we came to see were!" (107483419)

    Good location and close to some nice bars/bistros, friendly and helpful staff, nice decor in the room.

    Room was quite small, especially given that breakfast is served in the room. There wasn't really room to do this comfortably. Also, breakfast was pretty basic given the price and no option to have hot food/full english which I didn't pick up from the website. I probably wouldn't have booked if I'd known and both these factors made the cost seem a bit expensive.

    "I was left wondering how on earth this establishment was awarded 5 stars I thought it was an expensive disappointing let down for my first stay in London It offered nothing whatsoever that I considered to be 5 star hotel May I suggest that this rating be urgently reviewed" (107671047)

    Clean Good location to station

    No facilities at hotel Room very small No lounge or general relaxation area Not very friendly Lack of bathroom robes and sparse toiletries We didnt order breakfast because there would have been nowhere to eat it (apart from laps)!!

    Very good reception staff. Excellent wired access to internet which worked first time

    No breakfast room. Room up a narrow flight of stairs after taking the lift to the top of the building.

    The attempt to provide 5* standards was visible

    5* standards were not achieved. Bed linen had holes, dirty towels left on the stairs overnight, sound proofing in the room was abysmal, the lift did not service all floors, the bathroom was minute ect etc etc

    "Room (the Gold Room) was tiny, bed squeezed in, just about enough space to get round it. Kettle missing and not replaced when we asked. TV picture intermittently inverted itself. Staff seemed to consist of 1 person at any time and no night staff at all. No parking nearby. Bedroom curtains so pale you are awoken at the crack of dawn. Bathroom ill-equipped (for the money)and broken ceiling fittings, no tissues in bathroom. 5 star? I don't think." (97797955)

    Hotel initially appeared to be well appointed, the receptionist said they'd just been awarded 5 star status - I don't know how!

    "As advertised, it is a very nice hotel with high quality rooms very near Victoria station - which puts it in a very small competitive set. The high-end room chosen was significantly more expensive than the standard rooms, but well worth it in terms of amenities, space and comfort. Staff also very friendly and helpful, though could use more attention to detail (see wake up call)." (97042403)

    "This was a lovely hotel, perfect for a romantic getaway. Breakfast is brought to the room, so not great if you prefer a dining room, but we were more than happy to eat in the room - lovely continental breakfast was served. The marble bathroom was beautiful, (if a little chilly!) and the four poster bed ultra comfortable. Good choice of restaurants in the area as well. We would visit again." (97042384)

    beautifully decorated. efficient staff. clean.

    limited minibar. tv didnt work very well. poor building work had been done, ie wrong curtain pole for weight of curtains, dodgy plug socket fittings. Large step out of shower/bath, not ideal for unfit guests!

    "Although a small hotel with only 11 rooms, the manager/owner of the hotel who seemed to do everything from checking us in to bringing us breakfast in our room was very nice, friendly and helpful. The room and standard of the hotel was excellent. The room was a nice size with a beautiful oak four poster bed and antique furniture. The hotel has only been open for seven months and the room reflected this, the soft furnishing were lovely as was the marble bathroom. I would definately recommend this hotel.     The room we has was excellent (the Lord Milner room) with a beautiful oak four poster bed.

    It would have been nice to be able to have a drink at the hotel. There was no bar and the information book in the room said there was alcohol in the mini bar in the room but there was only soft drinks albeit complimentary.

    "Newly decorated with very helpful staff. Good location - 5 mins walk from Victoria and easy to obtain Taxi at corner of Eccleston Street. This is a very good hotel if you need a nice bed in a nice area, it does not have a restaurant, but you do get tea/coffee making facilities and there are plenty of places to eat a very short walk away...     Nothing, some people may find the rooms too small - but my experience of London is most rooms are too small. It's quaint and does not have lots of stainless steel and glass - if you want that go to the Copthorne/Hyatt/etc

    The hotel was secluded and quiet. Taxis were readilly available a few yards from the hotel.The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast, delivered to the room, was more like a brunch.

    Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was outstanding and perfectly on time

    There was no air conditioning and the window was stuck making it very stuffy - finally at 4.00am I was able to get the window open

    The hotel is very well situated for the tourist but in a quiet area. The presentation of the room was very good.

    "The hotel is of an extremely high standard. Its only been open for 1 month and the rooms are very tastefully decorated. The hotel staff were all helpfull and made me feel very welcome.
