    "very disappointing - we had stayed here previously (20 years ago) and found it a very pleasant hotel, which is why we chose it again. The whole 'air' of the establishment is in need of a review/ inspection- it is somewhat dated. I would hope that the saggy mattresses would be replaced and that the unpleasant smell be investigated and dealt with. A room air freshner would have helped a bit, and when we mentioned the smell to the propteitor he said he had noticed it but that it was from the previous occupants. I now regret not complaining on the night we had arrived and asked to be moved to a different room" (108858682)

    spacious room and nice to have a bath

    The room smelt awful! The pillows and mattress reeked and it was difficult to sleep. We were also expecting a room on the first floor, but we were in the annexe next to the entrance, so we didn't feel we could open the window at night, we heard everyone who came in and out and there was a bright light shining through the thin curtains all night long.

    "a really good position for visiting relative around North Wales. As I used to live locally I knew it would be convenient for sight seeing. Freedom to come and go as you pleased. Over all a very pleasant stay." (108450930)

    Very good basic hotel,breakfast was lovely as was the other food available, friendly, value fir money and convenient to the motorway.

    Didn't use the resterant or bar facilities at all, was on room basis only, therefore met few people, but the ones I met were polite, helpful, and informative. My room was very clean, nicely decorated and cosy, with good appliances.

    dowdy, in need of redecoration. Minimal facilities, crowded bathroom. Can't compete with premier inn etc. Residents lounge a bit of a tip

    Nice breakfast, friendly owners, secure parking,

    No heat in room. Minus 2 outside . Radiator in bathroom hot (bottom half) so had to leave bathroom door open to get any heat in room. Carpet in bathroom (yuk) . Very old dated bathroom suite, sink cracked in 2 places. Didn't attempt the shower coz bath looked grubby. Bedding very old bottom sheet badly fitting so mattress kept being exposed. Remote control for tele MINGING filthy , wouldn't touch it. Tele up on bracket, thick in dust screen grimey, cleaner obviously couldn't reach it.carpet edges dirty, skirting boards needed good clean. Had cold uncomfortable night, will never stay there again. One for the hotel inspector she would have a field day

    lovely friendly staff made most welcome. kept the reception open late as I phoned to tell them I was not going to make it by 11 o/c because I was 18 miles away driving in a blizzard.

    Spacious room that was generally clean (few stains on carpet) that had an large bathroom. Very comfortable bed, good supply of tea and coffee.

    very clean.good sized room. good breakfast served before usual time as we needed away by 7:30 each morning. 2 main courses for £10 in evening. very comfy mattress and pillows ability to park under room window, as had dog in car.

    meals served until only 8.00pm. Downie on small side.

    "The hotel was everything we needed for our weekend, although the restaurant and bar do have very limited, strict food serving times, so if you are arriving in the evening, it will be best to eat on the way. The hotel bar was very nice and relaxing, although not very busy, so best stick to bottled drinks if you know what i mean. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here." (97124454)

    Our room was lovelly, everything we needed, the bathroom was bigger than our room and very nice.

    Peace and quiet.

    General cleanliness of room was not up to scratch. I felt that the carpet and upholstery were not properly cleaned before I got there. Lots of toast crumbs in armchair.Floor carpet gritty.

    "The bathroom was old - the bath felt rickety to shower in. Breakfast was inflexible timewise. The cooked breakfast was not appetising - neither of us could eat the sausage and there was no choice of toast or eggs - only white toast and fried eggs." (97877332)

    Very friendly family hotel.It was clean!

    Room & bathroom rather smaller than 'Travelodge' but that was compensated by the friendly family atmosphere.

    "Room was tatty and smelled awful. Loo didn't flush properly. Shower was a luke-warm trickle. No Smoking stickers stuck on every flat surface! Single glazed window didn't stop the noise of the A55 or the Warehouse right outside the window with lorries starting up at 6am! Breakfast was OK, but evening meal consisted of badly heated up frozen food." (97768508)

    The room was very spacious, clean and well presented and plenty of hot water with all the things necessary for a business person. A warm welcome and good service from all the staff. The food was of a high standard with plenty of choice from the special 2 courses for

    "The room was very clean & comfortable, and extremely good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was very good and, again, very reasonably priced.     "Nice friendly hotel, service was good and as I am a solo business traveller, what more could I ask for, nice comfy bed and en-suite." (97487094)

    Nice rooms and having the car park outside the door was great. The restaurant and service was very nice. Cant comment on breakfast as I only had it one day.

    Low shower pressure and the room was cold. The double glazing is starting to fail and I was woken up by the industrial unit next door. it was loud evn though I had the windows closed. Its a shame that the restaurant was closed on the sunday.

    "Ok hotel, big room for the money although being a little critical maybe the place seems stuck in the 70's with carpeted bathrooms and green suites. But if you are on a budget and the posher places are booked up you won't go wrong it's clean enough, quiet and comfortable. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food etc." (99006278)
