    Room was recently refurbished to a good standard.Food excellant and staff freindly

    Only negative comment was the towels were an off pink colour so had obviously been put in a machine with something red;and one had a hole in,The rooms are around a court yard of the pub so was very noisy so dont stay if you want an early night

    Pleasant dinner served quickly considering how busy they were with a party. Cleanliness of the room

    Room was very very small and I would not like to have been in there with 2 people. Nowhere to hang clothes just 2 coat hangers on the back of the door. The WC had water running constantly throughout the night. I was asked what time I would like breakfast and said 8:00, the restaurant was locked until 8:15. Very limited parking.

    Both rooms we stayed in were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

    Unfortunately, we were there at the weekend. The bar patrons were quite rowdy and very noisy until 1 AM closing time, making it very difficult to sleep. Despite being moved to a room that was a bit farther from the action, noise remained a significant problem. It would have been a pleasant stay, but for that.

    "The accommodation was of a standard we were not expecting, higher than we thought it was going to be. The food was of a similar standard too. " (107272009)

    Thee were no directions where to check in on arrival, and as it was raining very heavily this made for a very damp start to our stay.

    Friendly, efficient owners and staff, clean room, excellent en-suite facilities and great food (husband is trained chef)

    Initial appearance of pub was not what I was expecting, but I need not have worried. no on site car park, but free car parking opposite.

    Helpful, friendly staff. Good food, especially breakfast. Pleasant room.

    A bit of noise from courtyard but lack of double glazing didn't help.

    Pleased with friendly welcome and help carrying luggage up steps after a long journey on unfamiliar roads on a rainy day. The lovely room was a delight converted from the old stables. Bathroom modern and new, great.

    "Knighton is an ideal place for day walking or a resting place if walking Offa's Dyke. May be a little more could be made of this and the fact that the Offa's Dyke Information Centre in the town. The Horse and Jockey Inn is ideally placed." (97274481)

    The accommodation is modern,but in a very well converted stable block,which reflects the historic Coach Inn. The resturant provides excellent food.

    "The accommodation was possibly the best I have ever come accross but the area in which it was set did not have much to entertain. If I had known this I may have looked for a different area. Some of the staff were helpful and friendly however, others did seem rude and unwelcoming. I would recommend the Hotel for an overnight stay but not for a weekend break or holiday." (97035553)

    Room vas very spacious and decorated and furnished beautifully. Everything very clean and in excellent working order.

    A spacious modern clean room with a big bed, self contained and clean. Nice big bathroom with a big bath, all new. Friendly staff and a good breakfast, a nice town centre. All in all a pleasant experience.

    It was a very cold night minus 3 degrees at least and foggy. I thought that the heating could have been switched on well before we arrived. It warmed up though and the bed was warm. There was a bit of noise from the restaurant in the early evening and we had to park in the side streets which was ok, because the town was quiet.

    "The accomodation was tastefully designed with a 'modern' image in mind and the facilities good. The beds were very comfortable and the location quiet. However the owner kindly provided heating throughout the night due to the low temprature but this required a heating unit close to the accommodation operating which created a 'whining' noise every couple of minutes which to some extent did disturb our sleep. The breakfast was excellent as was the service from the staff." (99959153)

    conveniently located in the centre of the town.

    We were allocated 'The Cottage' which needed to be accessed by a short small stairway with narrow steps and the room had a number of low beams.

    "Good for one night, bit noisy when we stayed, but it was a Saturday night. Good restaurant and service - nice room and great bathroom, although curtains in the bedroom could have been a bit thicker to keep the light that was on the balcony from shining in all night." (99920778)

    Easy to find, good restaurant and service, friendly welcome - good accommodation.

    Noisy on the night we stayed - but it was a saturday and there was something on at the community centre nearby too. Curtains in room could have been thicker, as one bed was near window and there was a bright light outside.
