    "Although my stasy was for a single night only, I would consider staying at this hotel again. General Best Western Hotel standards. " (108107641)

    Staff were very pleasant. Good standards of cleanliness.

    Unable to get any food on arrival. OK, my arrival was near to the end of Kitchen shift, but enquired if a sandwich would be possible only to be told that it was near the end of kitchen shift and it would not be possible? After a long drive in bad weather conditions it would of been nice to have eaten in the hotel. I had to find alternative restaurant at 8.45pm

    Service by Staff was good Hotel was reasonably comfortable and clean Restaurant food was good

    Shower door was falling off Shower operating handle was loose and all very antiquated Room heater control knob was broken and fell off

    Clean, warm, just off motorway, good location within the town. After initial upset with room see below this was put right and we were upgraded - handled well.

    In the first room we occupied the carpet was sodden.

    "Felt more recompence for inadequate facilities should have been given. We were given a measly £15 refund on an £80 room! Not impressed." (97408388)

    The restaurant service and food was excellent.

    Shower didn't work and on complaint the manager was not helpful.

    "Generally very good. WIFI a bonus for ther business traveller. In my opinion what improve the hotel would be to finished the bathroom as the quality of fixtures and fittings is very good. More TV channels (satelite). The bar area was a little formal a more relaxed area would improve the atmosphere." (97690961)

    Location, cleanliness and politeness of the stass. The room was of a good size and generally well equiped. Free WIFI excellent

    The bathroom needs finsishing off with regards to the door and the sealant was applied very poorly. The TV was poor in terms of available channels

    "Your staff are your greatest asset, they were so helpful. If there was anything bothered me it was the slopes, obviously for wheelchairs. I am slightly diabled but found them quite dangerous." (97918485)

    "We were disappointed with the restaurant, see above. Our evening meal was not up to a good standard, very disappointing. There was a shortage of staff on duty for the breakfast duty, the tables were inadequately set, no memu on majority of tables, so consequently did not realise that you could have had for example boiled eggs, tea or coffee was offered but had to ask for toast, in general a lack of care and committment to guests. Not at all impressed." (99134108)

    Room was large

    We were disappointed with restaurant, were seated in an anti room to the main restaurant, dark? Chef did come out and see if our meals were ok - we think this was done because the couple next to us returned one of their main meals and refused to pay.

    Good service on reception and breakfast, Very helpful

    The bathroom needed refurbishment and I would not class the room we had as an 'executive' classed room, which is what we believed we booked.

    Good sized rooms. Very nice ambience for duration of stay.

    No power shower in bathroom (over bath arrangement). Bathroom needed refreshed

    Friendly and helpful staff. Good food.

    The bed wasn't the most comfortable ever slept in! Some furnishings appeared a bit tired but I understand a programme of room refurbisments is underway.

    "The description of the hotel on your web site was accurate, I have stayed in a number of hotels over the past 12 months, and this one was value for money it was clean well maintained and the staff truely made us very welcome and provided great service." (99013269)

    The staff at the Hotel may us feel very welcome and could not do enough to help, the food was excellent in the restraunt, I would stay again.

    Bed was very hard.

    "Our break was a walking/climbing holiday break and it was lovely to return to a warm comfotrable room, friendly staff and quality establishment. This supported our decision to stay in a hotel as opposed to a bed & breakfast which was cheaper. So overall good decision and hotel for a lovey break. Thank you" (99425450)

    The staff and facilities were excellent. We received an upgrade and extra discount without asking and felt this was very generous. Oh and the sharing corner bath!!

    The lighting wasnt quite adequate.
