    Accommodation was very clean and attractive. There is an excellent guest lounge with a wide range of good reading matter for us to browse through. Plenty of parking spaces

    Television watching a bit limited as we were only able to find one channel (Sky). Perhaps reception of other channels is not good.

    Everything needed provided to a high standard. Lounge filled with useful guides and cultural literature.

    Poor insulation between the rooms made every word from the next room crystal clear. Stale air in the lounge; echo in the dining room made conversation difficult (non-reflective surfaces needed)so nobody talked

    "We found the online booking process very easy and efficient. The directions were very easy to follow. Upon arrival, the host was very welcoming and helpful with tips re: local amenities, places to eat etc. The accomodation was first class, and the breakfast with beautiful eggs fresh from the hosts own hens.     We spent a very peaceful Easter weekend at Yellowham Farm, and were very pleased with our room which had lots of lovely little touches. We had a full English breakfast every morning in the very pleasant dining room. If the weather had been warmer, the lounge/conservatory area would have been a good place to sit and read. We will definitely return to Yellowham at some point in the future. as it is probably the best accommodation we have stayed at.

    Wonderful welcome - clean fresh room and bathroom. Breakfast delicious. Overall experience delightful. Setting is outstanding and the farmhouse is easy to find from the dual carriageway which is always a bonus.

    yellowham farmhouse was a pleasure to stay in,it was spotless,the rooms were nice & big,it had lovely little touches like bubble bath & shampoo, & tea & coffee in rooms.There was plenty of information about the surrounding area in the rooms too,& in the guests lounge.

    Not much really,perhaps could do with digital t.v to solve the problem with the t.v picture

    "A lovely b and b the rooms were clean and a good size, there was plenty of information in the room about places to visit, places to eat etc. The owner was friendly and loved the location which is just outside Dorchester but far enough in the countryside so that there is wildlife about. We saw rabbits and badgers during our stay. The breakfasts were good. I would definitely stay there again." (97130848)

    clean, comfortable, quiet, good breakfast, convenient access to main trunk road

    having to select breakfast night before, small TV (although quite adequate, room outlook was onto bank and trees which made room a little dark - however this was offset by being able to watch pheasants and rabbits at window level

    "The location was excellent giving access to many famous places. The food was good and we liked the freedom to come and go as we pleased.Mobile phone signal was poor so was television reception but this was due to the location.This was a minor detail and we would have no hesitation in staying there again in the future."     "Credit card machine wasn't working when we arrived (again, not her fault) so caused slight problems but overall everything was great. Nice breakfast in the morning, on time and pleasant staff. My partner also loved the pets of the owner (2 dogs) which made our experience more personal, which was nice." (97009140)

    "Loved everything about the B&B. It was away from the road so you had peace and quiet. You had a communal area to sit and read away from your room. The room had information about local amenities which proved to be excellent when looking for somewhere to eat. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and would definitely go back there if in the area. I especially liked the owners two dogs that used to wander around, very friendly and cute. It had a personal feel to it, which was nice." (99470300)

    It was very clean. The staff were very friendly and you can come and go as you like. I liked the fact that the accommodation was away from the main house

    "there was only one thing I would have preferred and that was if I was closer to Dorchester. However it then would not have been within walking distance of Hardy's birth place. Yellowwood Farm it self was perfect." (99551952)

    The Location was great for where we wanted to be and was set back from the road, so there was minimal noise.

    The quality of the room and the choices for breakfast were not of 4 Diamond quality. The radiators didn't work, there was no remote control for the television, and the decor was very dated. My parents have a 4 Diamonth B&B and this was not even close to the same standard. I have stayed in many hotels and B&B's before and I would place this at 3 Diamond at the most.
