    Staff were helpful

    Swimming pool was green with dirt at edges floor was dirty at to changing room and spar pool was broken.

    "I was dissapointed with the quality of the executive room. The only extras were toiletries - I could have purchased better and still been in pocket.Very bad value for money and not of the same standard of similar value executive rooms I have stayed in." (107645729)

    Staff were very good. Leisure facilities were good.

    Bad smell of blocked drains in corridor and mess in corridor was on the floor for the whole of our stay. Bedding had holes in covers. Whats the points of an empty fridge? Why not put some drinks / snacks in. Poor storage area in bathroom so no room for toiletries. Wardrobe too low - my dresses had to be hung up in the bathroom. Tiling and decor very tired. You have lots of hand rails for those who have disabilities but the controls for water over the bath were very difficult to use.

    The hotel had very little heating and was very cold, also the restraunt was closed during Xmas period.

    I had booked asmoking room and had to walk a long way back to get the non smoking room changed.The newspaper I ordered didn't appear

    Have stayed in this hotel many times and have always been pleased with the service.

    "I stayed at the hotel approximately 10 years ago and was impressed with the location and facilities, hence me rebooking for the last stay. Overall it was an enjoyabel break. Bar and pool staff very helpful" (97120163)

    Location, excellent staff, open and welcoming bar and reception area

    Rooms needed to be updated, carpet and furniture well worn. Although spotlessly clean.

    "Hotel was excellent. Staff were efficient, polite, helpful and friendly. Facilities are excellent. We would definitely stay there the next time we are down in that part of the country. Breakfast was outstanding, get up early and take time to sample it. Evening restaurant had a varied selection and the food was really good and well presented." (99665288)

    Everything was fresh and clean. Added value of a room safe and refreshment making facilities. Other additional items from the bathroom were also excellent and came in useful, shoe shining and needles and cotton. Well thought out.
