    "We travel as a group of 16 and had a wonderful stay. Rooms clean and well appointed - surprisingly little noise for a town centre location. Staff was fantastic - bar could have more atmosphere! Will definitely go back if we are in the area." (107302030)

    the hotel is very central and easy to find from the Railway station. The food is good and so too the drink!

    the maze to get to your room is a bit off as is residents leaving finished trays outside their door at 6.0pm and the tray still there next morning! For breakfast serve the tea or coffee in a pot please, not a tea bag in a cup

    "I've stayed at the George before and have on behalf of Cambridge exams board used meeting room facilities. As long as current standards are maintained I intend to use the George whenever travel takes me to/from Heathrow. Thanks" (107556786)

    "Comfortable hotel, right in the middle of Reading town centre. Short walk to train station and buses, so easy to travel." (107773278)

    I was allowed to check in early. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

    No lift - long climb to room. Unpleasant aroma - drains? - in part of landing Room window difficult to open and close Breakfast 'fruit salad' was 80%+ sliced apples

    Staff were friendly and polite. Room was a reasonable size.

    Cleanliness of room. Many things were either out of order or broken. Breakfast was appaling!

    The central location.

    Our dirty towels hung over the door and towel rail to dry. No repsonse to a reported loose toilet seat.

    Clean,furiture and decoration up to date.

    1-Felt insecure-strange fire exit stairway coming through room from other floor.2-Need fully opaque screen on bathroom.Otherwise have to use bathroom in the dark.3-No private parking-public parking cost
