    was night club below our room and was extremely noisy until the early hours. Also had to wait ages for toast.

    "I suppose we all get a bit spoiled these days. There really wasn't anything that bad about the place (apart from duvet, pillows and waterproof sheet), it just seemed a bit disappointing." (108719587)

    Friendly, helpful staff, particularly the lady serving breakfast.

    Generally a bit tatty. Pillows really hard and duvets also very old and rigid. Nasty crackly waterproof under sheet. Deep fried full english breakfast!! (apart from the egg, tomato and beans).

    Staff were warm and welcoming. the Hotel itself seemed rather gloomy

    The undersheet on the bed was really uncomfortable - you need to change it. My husband's filled croissant at breakfast was seriously overcooked.

    Reception good

    Dining room staff shortage one person with twelve for breakfast all at once. Never did get any coffee. The hotel is purely bed and breakfast no bar no evening meal. Poor access and parking used by non patrons.

    friendly staff , good situation and very clean .

    there was no slip mat on bathroom floor and both husband and myself nearly slipped on floor when getting out of bath . when i menioned this the receptionist said thanks for lettig me know and it will be looked into she was very apolagetic

    Hotel clean, comfortable bed, breakfast very good, staff pleasant. Not expensive.

    Disco, finishing at 2:30 am, made sleep difficult. Although not an issue for us, TV reception practically non-existent.

    Very helpful staff.

    Difficult to identify the hotel from the car at dusk while drizzling. I eventually identified it on the third pass. I made a hash of finding the car park in spite of accurate instructions but your receptionist came out with me and guided me in - over and above the call of duty.

    "Brilliant.!! 1 daughter was in the nightclub all night and we were just upstairs fron her.and the other had a sickness bug and was in bed all weekend with very clean facilities at hand.this hotel is spotless.Brilliant hotel for anyone having a party weekend in Morpeth." (107334384)

    booked 2 rooms. 1 double and 1 twin however were given 2 doubles.1 being the honeymoon suite.

    very noisy because of the nightclub downstairs and generators or something of similar sound going from 6am in the morning.

    Breakfast was laid on early for those taking part in the Great North Run.

    Our room was at the back of the hotel and there was alot of noise from the beer garden, we were not informed of this at booking and it was quite difficult to sleep due to the noise.

    Breakfast was excellent,cooked to order.Staff were all pleasant.

    Hotel was noisy not just from the night club which was mention but guests coming and going all night into daylight.The plumbing made horrible loud noises in our room after use.

    Friendly, clean, old fashioned charm

    Bathroom too small. Space between bath and toilet very cramped even for a small person. Almost impossible to use the toilet!!!

    "The rooma and service was good, however the noise from outside of some kind of fridge or generator was very annoying. The carpark was too full of work vans and driving test centre cars and as a result my car was blocked in and took a while to get away." (97566626)

    "We had hoped for a restaurant to have an evening meal so we could have a bottle of wine etc but the restaurant isn't open only for breakfast, so we had to go out and find an evening meal,But if that was a quiet room, we had a long drive there and a funeral to attend before travelling back, 430mile round trip, so the quiet room was really required."     The room and Breakfast were o.k.

    I asked for a quiet room if possible,But the first night they have a club below and thumping music went on till 2am And a boiler close by woke us at 6.30am both days

    Excellent Northumbrian breakfast, served on the hottest plate ever!

    Room overlooking the main street. A surprisingly large amount of traffic from 5.30am onwards.

    "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel, all needs are catered for, wouldnt recommend it for disabled persons as there are quite a few stairs to negotiate, also if you are looking for a quiet break i wouldnt stay over the weekend as there is a nightclub below the hotel which can be noisy otherwise an excellent choice and great value for money, staff pleasant and helpful and the breakfasts are wicked!"     The room was of a reasonable size.

    I have filled in the form provided by the hotel stating that blankets and the top covering of the bed had holes in it.

    Good parking area to rear of hotel. Check in very easy and painless, staff well prepared for arrivals. Good size room which was clean and generally well equipped. Very pleasant staff and an excellent breakfast. Good town centre location and very close to the river.

    The bar area resembles something from an Austin Powers movie and isn't somewhere to enjoy a relaxing drink! There are plenty of other pubs nearby. The hotel is a little dark inside but that is probably down to the age.

    Very central location but not noisy. Some areas of the hotel ie The adjacent cafe/bar were showing signs of wear and in need of refurbishment but the food was excellent.

    Its location suited me very well.

    No real bar for residents, the Burnt Orange looked and was very poor. The beer was bad and staff didn't know how to pull a pint.

    The location of the hotel was brilliant, the rooms were immaculate and in general 100% satisfaction.the hotel has a CCTV car park which is always a good thing especially in a town centre hotel..I enjoyed it so much so I booked up when I got back home for another stay.
