    Good location near the underground tube station. Car parking was available.

    TV remote was not available. When asked got reply it will not work. Cannot be fixed. There was no electrical point to charge the mobile and Camera - this is absolutely a must nowadays. When contacted for above issues, the staff was grumpy and rude. Very small room.

    Personel were very helpful with directions to various locations and in explaining the city bus transportation system enabling me to use the bus. My room was comfortable and clean.

    The toilet was difficult to flush.

    Due to electronic problems payment was made twice. A refund was made before the duplicate payment was noticed.

    Room was very adequate, but being next to the kitchen was noisy in the early hours

    Surly receptionost. Dirty samll inadequate room 1st night. then requested and got a slightly better room for remainder of stay. Hotel run dcown could find no evidence of refurbishing. Would avoid this Hotel and never come back.

    Sheet's and towels were Clean the lady on reception on sunday morning was lovely

    In my bedroom 230 the glass mirror on the wardrobe was broken if my daughter was not in her travel cot she could have cut herself, a tile in the shower room was broken and if my partner did not cover it with a towel then we could heve cut our feet, there was no milk for the tea and coffee, one of the seats on one of the chairs was broken my partner nearly fell off it. the breakfast was very misleading it did not say on the website that it was continental, the crossiants were stale the orange was warm and watered down the milk tasted like it was watered down the tea tasted funny, the cheese felt like rubber, the eggs were horrible and the toast tasted stale, the lady who made the toast couldn't understand english niether could the man on the reception at night.

    the reception desk was attractive and clean

    Where do I start? a mistake was made with the booking and i had to share a double bed with my adult son. I was told I could have 2 twin rooms but would have to pay full price - I had to delcine. The room was filthy. the cover of the chair was sticky and stained. There was a broken heater(as the radiator wasn't working ), which was a fire hazard. The pillows were dirty. the floor was filthy. the mugs were sticky. there was a general meanness about the place:e.g. two small milks only for two people for the night, the sheet was too small for the bed and very old, there was very little toilet paper. The bathroom door didn't close. all the surfaces and switches were stained and cracked and dirty. I suggest that Hotel Inspecytors visit this place. The breakfast was minimal. While I intend to complain to the hotel formally, I doubt they will even bother responding.

    The area was nice.

    Room was dirty - no lampshade. Absoulutely tiny room. I wasn't expecting the Ritz for £45 a night, but I do expect the room to be clean, and with basic comforts.

    Clean and refurbished bathroom, good parking opportunity - as promised.

    missed batteries from remote controll, and the staff could not replace those. very used beddings and low quality matrace. on the last night there was not internet connection. The staff could not fix the problem. Small room. Very poor and few breakfast.

    nothing springs to mind.

    This was the worst 'hotel' I have ever stayed in! A list of the low lights as follows: 1-Exterior woodwork rotten. 2-Doorbell taped up to stop it falling apart. 3-Window pane missing in stairwell. 4-Cluttered stairways/walkways. 5-Chewing gum stuck to bed's headboard-disgusting! 6-Not clean, generally, dust & hairs on floor, stains on floor and water marks on walls. 7-Heating non functional. 8-Window non sealing (road noise!) 9-Room furniture looks like recycled from the tip. 10-Edging on paint work looked like it had been done by a clown, white paint splashes everywhere including top sheet of bed! 11-Badly fitting curtains allowing flourescent blue light into room all night. 12-Room smelt of smoke (rotten window box outside full of smoked cigarettes and drink bottles). 13-Black mould in shower.

    Adequate parking and a hair dryer in the room

    Curtains hanging off rail, unable to open/close them. Late night excessive and loud noise from other guests. No plug in bathroom sink. Pungent smell of damp in bathroom and mould around sink. General cleanliness below par. Coffee & Tea in room but no milk??!!

    "This place is a one star doss house, a kip by any other name. I've stayed in better hostels. There was a homeless person staying in a bus stop down the street who wouldnt stay here if they offered him the room for nothing.Booking this hotel was the worst part of what was otherwise a brilliant week end.     it had none, well maybe one, the heating worked....is that a good point?????

    no appliance worked (tv, hair dryer.)There was a leak from the room upstairs which came down through our ceiling (it just missed one of the beds by inches). The room was filthy. the light fixtures consisted of exposed bulbs without any light shades. The curtains hadnt seen a washing machine in their lifetime (at least 20 yrs). The breakfast was a disgrace, cold tea, no toast, dirty utensils. The staff were pathetic in terms of manners, politeness and all the other things travellers take for granted when they enter a hotel

    "I have travelled europe on 2 occasions and found hostels and camp sites that cater for my simple needs, however, the Golder Green hotel was the worst kept, dirty hotel i have ever visited, not to mention the health and safety risks of a room with the fire alarm that had clearly been torn from the ceiling. Overall, very poor, and if i had time before my departure i would have demanded a full refund. Disgusting." (107721543)

    Close to train station.

    Room was damp, smelly, dirty. Lights flickered when switched on. No fire alarm. Bed sheets did not cover old matress. Cold room. No hot water in shower. DIY had taken place and dust remained on and around bath towell. Shower floor was filthy. Corridor windows were smashed.

    Room had tv, tea & coffee. Whilst the shower fitting was actually broken, the shower worked okay. The sheets looked clean.

    Not clean - smelt unclean. Bathroom had damaged fittings, but shower worked okay. The carpet especially felt/smelt unclean.

    It was generally good value for money - the beds were clean and comfortable. We had a fron facing room so traffdic noise was a problem. The breakfast was very basic.

    Road noise and the room fittings were very old and shabby. Also it was a bit of a rabbit warren - we had difficulty in finding our room!

    This hotel was best described as being recently refurbished,a few new carpets put into the rooms doesn't constitute a refurb!!! Health and safety would have a field day in this hotel, it was awful and very smelly with the smell of smoked ciggeretes. I thought the hotel adopted a no smoking policy !!!!

    "I cannot give a positive review and unfortunately there were too many faults to list here, but in essence the main faults in the room were, smell of stale cigarette smoke, socket hanging off the wall with exposed wiring, fist sized hole in the wall, rotten skirting boards, a window that was the dirtiest window I have ever seen, and sheets that were too small for the size of the bed.     The hotel was close to where we needed to be. The room was a good size and had what we needed.

    After buzzing to be let in it took ages for any staff to appear. Even though my initial request of a cot was not needed the staff didnt seem aware of it at all. Lots of broken and chipped appliances around the room. Linen on the beds wasn't fantastic.
