    Overall standard of rooms was acceptable for the rate charged and staff were polite. Problem in room was rectified after we had complained twice

    Too few staff at reception to deal with the guests trying to check in and out. Overall check in process was too slow. Very noisy fan in bathroom - clearly broken and should have been fixed prior to us occupying the room. Disappointed that the restaurant closed at 10pm - seemed very early.

    The quality of food and performance of staff in the restaurant was excellent. Rooms were were good, with excellent shower

    Rooms were small by modern day standards.i.e no standard wardrobe Prices of drinks in the bar were exorbitant

    Good checkin room clean great steak dinner nice quite room no noise from outside

    Toilet did not flush in room and window curtain rail was hanging of the wall. Desk staff need to update thenselves with airport information they sent me to wrong terminal and taxi was booked for 07.30 am but did not arrive untill 07.45 nearly missed my flight.

    Really nice Hotel with a nice welcoming feel to it. Everyone really enjoyed their stay.

    The area is not the most freindly place at night time. Although to be fair we had no problems and you could probably level that comment at most cities.

    Clean hotel, with complimentary use of facilities, i.e. pool, gym, steam room & sauna. Very nice food served in the restaurant & fairly reasonably priced.

    Hotel is classed as a 4 star, it's more like a good 3 star.

    Staff were very pleasant and helpful, the hotel is on the flightpath for Heathrow airport although you could not tell as the soundproofing was excellent

    Air con did not work in my room on first night but we were quickly moved to a room which had the air con working

    Friendliness of staff was excellent. Gym & Spa facilities were excellent. Food excellent.

    Steam room not functioning in Spa. Service at breakfast slow. Breakfast expensive. Car parking expensive.

    Friendly staff

    Booked room 4 months in advance and on the day given a twin instead of double room. Woke up at 6am with extremely loud music, floor vibrating No hotel information in the room, not even a pen!

    I had phoned the hotel earlier to say I would be arriving late, and upon arrival, I was greeted by name (I'd never stayed here before) - nice touch! The rooms were very contemporary, with free internet access and space to work. LCD television.

    Room too hot - no ventilation Some fixtures/fittings cracked/not well connected Could have been cleaner - noticed someones breakfast tray was still outside their door at 11.45 at night and hadn't been retrieved!

    rude staff, no room service, dirty trays left in corridor for two days even after guest complaints they were still there the next day. television didnt work, towel rail didnt work. nearly broke our necks walking into room with step with no warning sign. no parking. refused drink at bar apparently it was shut even though they served someone after us

    The hotel was very nice, it is clean and the staff are excellent, always helpful and polite. A lot of reviews I had read stated that the hotel was looking a little run down, they had just redecorated when we arrived and so it is now looking very smart. The breakfast was very nice too, we upgraded from continental to full english for

    The smell of paint was still very strong but this will be gone now, the rooms are very very nice although a little small. The car park is a little silly, they have 20 parking spaces but fit around 28-30 cars in and so you sometimes have to wait for the staff to move some cars before you can exit the car park.

    "Rooms comfortable and breakfast very good price but to far away from the venue we was attending" (97768272)

    The room was very good and the staff did help with the problems.

    Booking in time said "any time" on e-mail confirmation but this is not true. The hotel is being re-vamped and our room had a very heavy smell of paint that caused us headaches. The hotel is quoted as being 2.5 miles from Twickenham Stadium when in fact it is a 1 hour walk away.

    rooms were to good standard, staff were friendly & helpful restraunt food was good

    parking descriptions misleading, poorly signed at the hotel. 24hrs Asda carpark just 2mins walk away is £10, but £50 if left longer than 24hrs.

    the room was modern

    When we arrived they had no record of our booking. This was booked nearly a month ago. the recption was a bit short with us.

    The bed was very comfortable and the decor was pleasant.

    "very hand locaton for tube, and bus station to Twickenham, car parking is extra and so is the english breakfast. Be warned there are not enough car parking spaces for the whole hotel, can get quite chaotic. Take a padlock if you intend to use the gym or pool the lockers do not lock. Hotel needs some tlc, carpets warn and loose on stairs, skirting boards loose and lift broken for entire stay. a leaflet in the room advises guests to ask reception staff of local places to avoid not a great advert!"     very handy for tube station, good to use the gym facilities

    lift broken, staff not sure what was going on half the time.
