    Fantastic location, very friendly staff. Lovely view from room (sea view). Good breakfast.

    TV didn't work properly. Only one towel for 2 adults - had to request another. Room clean but carpet shabby. No extractor fan in bathroom so got very steamy with shower. Instant coffee at breakfast no real coffee - so had to go to local cafe for caffeine fix.

    towels are not being washed hot enough; breakfast: the fat that is being used in the kitchen is of poor quality. It stinks. Toasts are not really well done. cheap shower-environment. Noise from other rooms; using the shower and the toilet and the TV. The room above us had no carpetflooring, so we could hear 4 men hamering their shoes. The staircase is noisy. The cold light of savinglamps is really not charming the room. The electric heater made a humming noise. The guestbook was missing after bad comments in it. No parking place in the street.

    very friendly and warm welcome, very good bed and spacious room, beautiful area

    parking limited, but not a problem on the day as i was on a motorbike, not too far to walk to local bars or car park

    We arrived very late due to complications with ferry service from the mainland. Staff waited up for us, and made us feel welcome.

    It was our silver wedding anniversary-good food-friendly staff-good location-nice and informal.

    A map to help find the hotel initially would have been a help-put one on your website?-even locals we asked didn't know where it was. Shower was a little temperamental with regard to setting the temperature.

    "The mangaer was very polite and arranged a cold breakfast which I did not expect , leaving at 6.30am. Most places would not have bothered. It would be good to recommend somewhere to eat, I had the worst meal out I have ever eaten in a local establisment" (97644393)

    "Staff were helpful, informative and friendly. They pointed us to a local cafe / restaraunt called 'Murrays' that was excellent in every aspect including value. The Hotel's cooked breakfast was substantial and cooked to order and was very good; setting us up for the day. We stayed in a very spacious room with four proper beds so our family were very comfortable. ( two beds were together to make a very large bed )Because of this the accomodation was exceptional value for our three night break." (97418252)

    Fantastic location peaceful and quiet with the rear overlooking St Aubins Bay. Yet minutes walk to restaraunts, shops, pubs and the beach.

    "I wouldn't book here again until I knew a major refurb had taken place. V expensive for quality of accomodation. very poor shower, water either freezing or boiling and no control over which you got. Shower head very small and hose broken and shower tray very grubby." (97297295)

    hotel was generally grubby. Shower and bathroom were very poor and in need over major update. Room was small but adequate for a one night stay wouldn't want to stay much longer than that though. Breakfast was very early.

    "A comfortable guest house with excellent breakfasts, comfortable beds, fantastic sea views from some rooms, friendly staff. Very convenient for walking to the harbour and bus services. A lovely part of the island with plenty of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance." (97109818)

    Very close to harbour and good eating establishments, with plenty of different types of restaurants. Friendly staff, good breakfasts, comfortable beds.Plenty of hot water.

    The showers were a bit unpredictable - probably depended on how many people were showering at the same time!

    "Other than the little things mentioned above we can't really fault our stay. The guest house was ideal really for what we wanted which was a relaxing stay in a pretty location with everything close at hand. We would definitely return to this guesthouse, the staff were so nice and made us feel very welcome. It was great too to be able to leave our luggage there on the last day and collect it on the way to the airport." (97141860)

    Location was fantastic, view was lovely, staff were friendly, room was nice & comfortable - extra pillows were in room as requested as I am pregnant.

    Shower wasn't brilliant and kept going hot and cold. Breakfast was ok except no sausages or mushrooms and the toast was cold

    "The staff were friendly and met your requirements. The breakfast and service were excellent, started the day off well. The hotel was on rather a steep cobbled road so may not be to practicle for the elderly or those with difficulty in walking. We had a taxi from the airport,but took the bus back to the airport which can be picked up at the bottom of the road the hotal is on. cost £1.00 better than a taxi £7.00." (97077812)

    It was comfortable and as we fortunate enough to be given a balcony with a sea view it made it more pleasurable.

    "The end of the day you could see the hotel was in the process of redecorating and the overall stay was good value for the money and it was local to the relatives that we where over to visit." (97097052)

    The breakfast was good and the room was tidy and the bed was comfortable.

    The sink in the middle of the room which was a bit odd and the shower was a little slow.

    "For the price that we paid for the Guesthouse, we would have expected a much higher standard. I stay in hotels regularly in the UK for my job and the charges are around the same. We were disappointed with the appearance of the room. It does need some serious modernisation. We felt that 30 minutes serving time for breakfast to be unreasonable when you're on holiday. Please note that we have not been to Jersey before and it maybe that the other Guesthouses in Jersey, operate a similar situation when it comes to breakfast. In all, we are basing this feedback on just one visit to Jersey so we have nothing to compare it to on the Island." (99917852)

    It was a nice location. Because we'd booked late and could only get a twin room, they kindly moved the furniture around to make it into a double room for us.

    The room smelt very musty. The bathroom had a horrible smell and the shower curtain was mouldy. The breakfast was only served between 8.30am and 9.00am. The instructions for the use of towels was put in a drawer so we were unaware that we had to leave our towels in the shower in order to receive fresh ones. Therefore we only had our towels changed once in 4 days.

    Room was spacious and bed was large. Owners were friendly

    Dining room was very cramped and rather dismal; no butter was provided at breakfast, then three little squares were just tossed onto the table when we asked for it. Tea tasted quite disgusting.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. Very convienient location and suprisingly quite given close proximity to town centre. Very good breakfast food. Clean and simple room.

    Found nothing to dislike about the accomodation.
