    "Attending a cousins 50th birthday - meeting up with family from Ireland." (108152485)

    Solo male travelling alone, i was approached by several staff members at different times asking me if i was a guest at the hotel. The most annoying was half way through my breakfast- I felt like a criminal !!

    The location is ideal for access to the town centre.

    No hot water A.M. Onsuite shower far too small, my wife and I are both average sized and both found the shower too small. Headboards on beds were white vinyl, and were covered in black grease marks from years of wear.

    An excellent, well run Hotel Customer friendly staff, always willing to oblige Good choice of evening menu which is changed daily Our room was spacious, very clean & gave an excellent view of the outstanding promanade & The Little Orme Reserved parking is adequate, gave a sense of security & was value for money compared with on the prom parking charges And to cap it all, we had sunshine in North Wales in March!

    Not many good points to mention.

    very tired hotel, staff who were struggling to cope & a restaurant which didn't open which left us with a problem of where to eat. Bar would only accept cash & not room charge & I was charged 2.5% for paying my bill with credit card

    "Overall adequate but a little disapointed. the food was ok but nothing special. Evening meal times were not flexible enough." (107628606)

    The room was warm, and hotel was quiet even after a great number of students arrived.

    The hotel is in a desperate need of refurbishment and unfortunately our room smelled strongly of urine which we overcome by purcasing an air freshner.

    the view and helpful service through active hotels - one of the hotel receptionists was very helpful.

    One off-hand member of staff at reception, requested alarm calls were not made on either morning leading to a rush to get to airport. When paying the bill 40 minutes after the advertised morning opening time for reception it was still not possible for them to provide a receipt for the stay and as I couldn't wait any longer for the printer to warm up they have promised to send it to me - not yet received. The bathroom door did not shut and the decor was tired and scruffy.

    Rooms are comfortable, staff are freindly and efficient.

    The breakfast on both mornings, was terrible. Definately not cooked fresh but left lying in tray to get very greasy, dry and tough. As there were only 6 guests in all, there is no excuse for this.

    for only 5 punds extra we had a sps room with a wonderfull view over the sea and grande promenad

    dinner was only served untill 7.30 the hotel needs to be renovated

    Good location

    Given a smoking rear room and told that this is due to booking via Hotelroom.com. The towels were frayed and one even had a hole in it!

    Reception and bar staff were very friendly and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was nice and good value for money.

    We requested at the time of booking that a cot be ready in our room for our daughter. This was not ready when we booked in, however it was soon corrected and a cot arrived within 5 minutes of us being there. Trying to park the car near the hotel was a difficult task. There was not enough room in the lift for an adult and a pushchair so we had to carry our daughter, bags and pushchair up the 2 flights of stairs to our room.

    easy to find the hotel as it right the prom. good direction to the hotel on the web site.

    the hotel and rooms are abit out dated. the single room i stayed in was abit dull and out dated and small.

    Staff were very good. Had to cut break short owing to unforeseen circumstances. The staff were extremely helpful and supportive. A big thankyou should go to them.

    The lift we had to use was a little small but adequate.

    The room with a view over the prommenade and seafront was well worth the cost alone. The meals were excellent (too much really) and the staff friendly and courteous..

    Some of the decor looked a little tired.

    "The car park was very small, which cannot be helped, my husband parked car - I think I would have preferred to park elsewhere (like the beach!!) The hotel was very informal and friendly, although any assistance we needed was on hand. We had no complaints whatsoever. The staff were very polite and friendly." (97905741)

    Excellent location, service and food. Friendly staff.

    Beeing in a smoking area when we requested a non-smoking area. On the last night of our stay, people were smoking on the coridor and we could smell the smoke quite strongly in our room. There was quite a lot of disterbance that night which kept us awake.

    "The hotel is very well situated for all amenities with very helpful and happy staff. Nothing was too much trouble. It would have been helpful if the website could have recommended unloading the car at the front of the hotel before proceeding to the pre-booked car parking space at the rear." (97508184)

    Warm and clean with toiletries provided. Fresh towels daily was much appreciated.

    Unfortunately we found the beds to be too hard and uncomfortable causing us to have a poor night's sleep.

    The bathroom facilities were very cramped and the wash basin was in the bedroom. Not enough staff on duty at breakfast on the Sunday morning, service was slow.

    "This obviously a hotel geared to the grey pound, not the business traveller. Whilst the hotel was comfortable, and clean it is in some need of redecoration, and updating. I would like to have known about the pre-booking of the car park, due to the fact that I had to park an expensive car in the road probably 400mtrs from the hotel. I should have checked the parking facilities prior to booking as I do not know the area." (99045310)

    The view from the room was stunning.

    Not being able to charge anyhting to the room unless you dined at the hotel, I was entertaining that night. The lack of car parking, I had to park probably 1/4 mile from the hotel.

    very unwelcoming. had to sign in. felt like bail hostel. pokey room no lift.poorly furnished. drab public rooms.outside dirty drab & unwelcoming. TV must be over 30yrs old. Most unwelcoming hotel imaginable
