    Breakfast staff were friendly.

    Rooms pokey and small, bathroom had no shower, just a shower head and toilet didn't work properly.

    Excellent views from our room, fantastic new very comfortable king size bed, overall friendly staff and in a lovely quiet location.

    A couple of minor points - We felt it was a bit expensive at £92 per night/room for us to have B&B, and our room had a bath but no shower.

    Friendly reception staff; Pleasant lounge area; Hotel located in quiet area. Room had a homely feel.

    Water in bathroom only lukewarm before 10am. Alerted staff to this problem, but nothing changed. Inadequately staffed during Breakfast and badly organised. For each day of our stay, we had to ask for toast - no system in place for noticing guests on arrival and servicing them. Buffet items frequently ran out; staff had to be alerted to this; this meant that guests were frequently kept waiting for part of their breakfast. Room furnishings acceptable for a private B&B, not hotel standard. Bathroom cramped for space. Shower very basic. Building neglected and in bad state of repair. Bedroom window dirty and broken.

    friendly staff, suite was lovely and bed very comfy.

    the shower was a little weak. the style of shower was wrong for the shower enclosure and has to stand slightly out of enclosure to be showered. not that big a problem.

    "ok but the hotel in my view needs to add more Scottish decor,background music.As a proffesional hotelier Im still baffled as to why the chef needs 30 mins warning that he is going to have a table of two" (107133459)

    good hard working staff but require bar training as I was charged £5.10 for a port of no special quality,I think the girl behind the bar used a single spirit measure and charged me double when I tried to explain it should be a larg measure.didn't have time to explain at checkout

    A Scottish hotel should have a more Scottish feel to it,some background music in the restaurant may help build some much needed atmosphere.Some help with bags would have been a good idea

    Young chap was extrely helpful and appeared to be a one man show, he welcomed us as we arrived, served us drinks in the bar late at night and served us again at breakfast the next morning.

    Not enough staff working at breakfast to cope with the number of guests. The hot table was not re-freshed with little choice available. Had to ask twice for toast and for items to be replaced on the table.

    The room was really clean and the breafast was good.

    "Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely with a wide selection. Only problem was the car park, went out after booking in to view the shops and didnt manage to get a parking space when I arrived back. Overall would certainly go back." (97314435)

    The Breakfast was superb with a varied selection for all tastes.

    No dislikes apart for the small bedroom which was used as a double room.

    Room was very comfortable and had all the usual facilities tea/coffee, hairdryer, tv, etc.

    The only minor complaint was that the bed had a pine foot board which was quite high and could obscure the view of the tv if lying on the bed.

    Staff good friendly and helpfull, no shower in room but let me access a shower room. Beautiful situation for the hotel, short walk into Pitlochry.

    "Would not go back but overall a fairly good experience.....shame aswell because in the initial few hours we were raving about it, the morning definately brought it down. A good start but a poor finish. (However on leaving, the same lady who checked us in, checked us out and again she was lovely!)" (99258423)

    The lady who checked us in was very friendly and she was very helpful and kind. The room had a beautiful view as promised and was clean...only thing being that there was no shower, only a shower haed attached to the tap in the bath. The staff at night in the bar were very helpful and quick.

    We were VERY rushed through breakfast in the morning, in fact one member of staff stood and waited for us to finish. Breakfast was said to be from 8:30 until 9:45......we were there at just before nine and out by twenty five past but you'd have thought we'd come down at 9:45! Also there wasn't any food left for us and nobody went to get more even though they checked the basins!
