Excellent Food - good portions Hotel is within easy access to many of Dorsets beaches and attractions Loved the open fire Friendly atmosphere

Hotel quite remote, glad the initial drive to hotel was in day light.

"A wonderful spot for a short break. The owners and their staff were very friently and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Although very quiet and very few guests, due to the time of year, we felt we were given 1st class service. A very enjoyable stary" (97773019)

"Any traveler would be pleased to have stumbled across this acommodation, it's a bit of the beaten track, but it's well worth a visit. The food is excellent. Poor mobile phone reception in the area. Would certainly use this country inn again. Go and enjoy yourself in the Dorset countryside." (97756578)

Very clean comfortable accommodation, excellent food and a selection of real ales. staff very friendly.

Shower head was too heavy, it would not stay in an upright position.

A little difficult to find, but well worth the effort.
