    Toilets and showers good. Bed comfortable. Heating adequate.

    Room smelt of sweat. Waste pipe under sink leaked if tap turned on too hard. No towel or pillowslip provided in that particular room.

    Very friendly service. Neat and organised setting.Quiet environment.

    Bathroom and toilet not clean enough..Toilet roll in toilet finished so soon. No soap in bathroom.Very uncomfortable walking down to toilet or bathroom through the corridor everbody passes in daylight,,,Not pleasant.No bathrobe!hmm

    ok, although my bed was made up daily and the towels were changed, it would have been nice if someone had actually vacuumed the room,not touched once in 5 days. The front door was locked at midnight, i came back one evening after midnight and the keypad, to enter your room number, to gain access to the hotel did not work. 20 MINUTES I WAS STOOD OUTSIDE BUZZING BEFORE SOMEONE LET ME IN. The oversheet had a rip in it.

    Good value for money, ease of finding hotel, staff friendly.

    The coffee machine was not working properly so there were facilities provided elsewhere. Pillow stained and carpet stained and in need of replacement. Room very hot and a bit airless. The constant cleaning of the toilet meant that the floor was always wet.

    helpful and polite staff. We asked for a fan as our room was too hot and the window did not open. The staff member could not locate a fan so we were moved to the opposite room where the window opened. Very clean rooms with plenty of space.Comfortable bed.

    excellent front of house young woman, very friendly and welcoming. Would suggest she gets rid of rings on face as she is lovely enough without them.

    too cramped for 3 people. would be better if ensuites were available. Water on floor of toilets not hygenic.

    Cheap,friendly manager staff, pay phone that takes free 0800 calling card calls.

    No phone, no ensuite toilet or shower. Handy man reworked the lock and locked me out of the room. No breakfast available locally before 8:30.

    The pillow was dirty, they didn't change,there was blood,etc., the reception really NOT welcome, the guy all time on computer, he never look you, he is too busy... I never ever come back again, and I dont let my friends and relatives stay that kind place.

    The room we stayed in only had one pillow (there were two of us in the room, and there was no one to ask for another pillow) and stank of smoke. I undertand that it was a smoking room but the smell was horrific! Our clothes stank when we left.

    the customer service was excellent and the room was clean and cheerful with clean toilet facilities

    the online booking was misleading as it wasnt specified that the booking wasnt paid at the time although i was asked for payment details it wasnt stated at any point i would have to make the payment on arrival as this was only in the event of a cancellation so that the card could be charged and when we arrived there was no record of the booking so it was a good job i had taken a printout of the confirmation

    Reasonable value for money.

    Cleanliness of room left a little to be desired. Also - due to auto clean facility in toilets floor was constantly wet etc.

    Ive stayed in the hotel before and found it basic but adequate, location is good, free internet and cheap

    Cleanliness is an issue, the toilets are filthy, I complained at 3.30 pm and was told the cleaner would clean them after they finished the rooms, at midnight they still hadnt been cleaned. The gentleman on reception wasnt very sociable or approachable.

    "The room was smaller than a lift. It smelled of mold, there were stains on the bedding, walls, and carpet. The community loo/shower was expected, but it was filthy and smaller than an airplane toilet. I can't entirely complain though because it was the only thing available and was really cheap. It was also close to the motorway. Although, if it were not cold, I may have considered sleeping in the car. It was at best OK for going on a whim and not spending much time at all there."     It was cheap and the only place that still had vacancy considering the weekend we chose.

    TV remote didn't work, no kettle, carpet had very dubious stains all over it. Room looked dirty. Sheets, although clean, were torn. Didn't realise it was not en suite facilities. The entire place was shabby and smoking was allowed in the rooms.

    "The famous saying you get what you pay for thats certainly the case here. The only good thing was the staff were helpful. The toilets and the room were very grubby, i would not stay in this hotel again I would rather sleep in my car. I have come away with a chest infection too. Not a happy experiance at all."     "The directions to the hotel (assumed we'd be arriving on the motorway) mentioned a set of traffic lights we never saw. The car park was due for some repairs. The receptionist was very good and had the people before us and ourselves booked in very quickly and effeciently. The rooms themselves were perfectly acceptable for the rates charged. However, the walls in one room had what appeared to be tea or coffee stains and could have done with a wipe down or even a coat of paint. There were quite a number of guests running up and down the corridor and, I think, another party returned (in high spirits?) at around 02:30. They then talked quite loudly for a while, either in the corridor or in an adjoining room. A nuisance but not enough to get out of bed and complain." (97206488)

    "Good location with easy access to Edinburgh if you can't get a city centre hotel. Easy to find and has good parking. Rooms would be very cramped for three despite being called 'triple'. Take shower shoes as the facilities are not en suite. Breakfast was basic and certain items had run out by the time we arrived to eat. Better if they had provided tea making facilities.     "It was ok for the price paid.The vending machines for snacks and drinks are reasonbly priced and the quality is ok.It was of a similar standard to one I had used in France ( I did not know Metro had taken over some of Formula 1 establishments until I arrived). I would not use the same site as a venue for more than one night because there are no storage facilities (for clothes etc) but would recommend the use of these hotels as a good cheap overnight stop" (97056712)

    "As I have a severely disabled wife if it had been for leisure and I had not realised I may have assumed that it would have been fine I think it is fine for Disabled people who are reasonably mobile and I did spot a disabled toilet .....I think adverts should say ....not ensuite .....not suitable for severely disabled wheelchair user....on the plus side I think you should say that the sound proofing was excellent as I assumed that so closed to M9 the sound of traffic would have been constant ......Fot those who like a good restaurant meal and a drink ......the fact of there being a First Class Restaurant & Bar within walking distance was a decided plus....."     Nothing it was what it was clean reasonabley priced accomadation the oinly thing I missed was having a personal kettle for that room I always bring my own coffee and milk and coffee as I dont like UHT so yes a small kettle would have been nice

    "A convenient, cheap motel with all the basics in place. Just a shame that there seems to be more smoking rooms than are needed, as on both the last 2 visits, I have been given a smoking room" (99028980)

    Cheap and convenient

    For the second time in a row (previous stay on 15th June), I have been put in a smoking room, despite on both occasions clearly requesting a no-smoking room. On both nights the car park looked far from full, suggesting this was not due to a lack of rooms
