    "Handy location to an event I was attending in Park Lane, the room I had was up on the top floor ideal size for 1 but would be a squeeze for 2 for anything more than a night. Nice flat screen TV, aircon and quality tea in the room with water and the days paper and a copy of time out left on the side." (108399693)

    Great Location, good quality tea in room and free water and newspaper.

    Corridors look a little tired and marked mostly caused by narrow staircases and luggage scraping walls, marks on carpet in room around bin caused by tea bags being placed into bin. Light switch worked opposite way around as did the mixer tap on bathroom a little confusing.

    Perfect location, in the heart of London close to Victoria Station, but quiet and nice. Nice view from the room window up on the 3rd floor. Good continental breakfast with fresh croissants.

    Be prepared for no elevator & luggage room on 2nd floor in separate staircase.

    This hotel is in a good location;have stayed at this hotel along time ago.

    As there was only a temporary receptionist on our arrival my wife and I seemed to be allocated nearest available room,which was right on the front of the building and proved to be quite noisy late at night with guests talking outside. there was not enough room at the breakfast area and we had to return to our room until some guests vacated that area

    Clean tidy and good furniture etc.

    Room not ready 109 pounds sterling for a basement room is far too much, booking in advance I expected a better room.

    "Location! Location! Location! The hotel was stylishly modern, clean and efficient. " (107846134)

    Unfortunately the Saturday night we stayed at the hotel there were about 10 student adolescents without proper adult supervision who knocked on our door 3 times which made sleep impossible. They arrived at 2:30 am and were noisey until the next morning. I realize that this was not the hotel's fault, but I was extremely displeased that no one calmed these kids down after an hour.

    The bed was soft and cozy. The washroom and room in general were clean. Overall a pleasant experience.

    Some of the tv channels were lagging.

    "Would stay here again. Nice and clean. Fish and chips around the corner that stayed open until 11pm each night. Convenient store across the street also." (107398758)

    Very clean and was within five minutes walk from Victoria tube station. Nice breakfast in the morning. Bed had a nice comforter on it. Bathroom was very clean and had a closing glass door for the shower. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

    Carpet was a bit dirty. Narrow staircase for bringing bags to and from rooms.

    advised this was a 4 star Hotel. Cab driver couldn't even find it!! No outside signs, no lights, poor reception area, in general a VERY POOR QUALITY HOTEL, with extremely dangerous steps down to my room in the basement!! NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!!!!

    Very good location, modern layout, neat and simple.

    Bed too soft, wet carpet at the bathroom exit, stairs may be steep for seniors.

    staff very friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable.We were staying for an extra break after being in paris,it was a special birthday and our daughter sent banners etc to the hotel asking staff to put them up in our room.This was no trouble.

    Not enough room at breakfast, people sitting too close together, and only one person really able to serve themself at a time in the surrounding area. The floors were very creaky and you could hear water running, toilets flushing from other rooms. Also people talking.

    Everything. Rooms flooded, hived off to sister hotel! Receptionist not very helpful, incurred significant extra costs in taxi fares, a celebrational weekend turned into nightmare. Is that enough feedback?

    Room was in excellent decor, eveything worked and we didn't feel cramped in.

    When our keys wouldn't work the guy on reception just gave us a new key, didn't check our ID and we could have been anyone.

    very clean and tidy hotel central to victoria station,nice safe area with eateries and wine bar, bedrooms were very modern and fresh.breakfast was continental style, help yourself, plenty of hot drinks, fruit juice, rolls, eggs, yogurts etc...

    would have prefered a door/ partition to seperate the eating area from the check in area as its open plan and quite small.

    "Location is good but that is really the only good point. The hotel is made up of two town houses knocked into one. No restaurant as such. Breakfast is taken in an area adjoining the reception. No frills whatsoever and all self service. When asking for more milk anyone would have thought I had asked for champagne." (97414453)

    Although spotlessly clean, the rooms are extremely small and more basic than a Travel Lodge at double the cost. The TV was nearly bigger than the bathroom.

    the location was fab, the shower was excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable

    the bathroom was very small, and the Remote for the TV worked intermitently.

    Modern and up-t-date facilities

    Toilet roll holder sited far too close to the toilet such that it posed a safety risk. No remote control supplied for TV. Shower support rail loose.

    The room was well equipped and the fixtures and furnishings were of a good standard.

    The only real problem I had with the room was its size. There was very little room to move around in.

    "Good central, basic accommodation with Victoria tube station an easy ten minute walk away. Very clean and tidy -- nice shower and comfy bed. Beware that there's no lift, and (likely) no one who will offer to help you lug your luggage! Breakfast is basic continental, but there are quite a few little breakfast places close by. If you don't need any fancy extras and just want a clean, safe, comfortable place to stay in London, I'd recommend it. Also convenient to catch Gatwick Express from Victoria station." (99124678)

    No lift, no offer to help me carry luggage by myself up four flights of stairs to store luggage, then six flights of stairs to room. Check-in was adequate, but not overly welcoming.
