  Bed comfortable,

  Dirty stained bath mat, bathroom too small,warm showers, broken bath plug,extra portable heater needed to heat room, hair in food twice,luke warm soup, 10 minute wait for cereal bowls,

  "After booking here we read dreadful reviews on line of this hotel, it was better than we expected. It does lack the attention to detail of your usual Hilton." (97910981)

  The lobby was attractive, the staff was polite and also very helpful; we ate once in the restaurant and our dinner was very good as well as the service. There was a very nice Italian restaurant around the corner.

  I believe that because this is a Hilton, we didn't expect it to be in a location that is just a little seedy, and a bathtub with mold around the edges. The room's furnishings were like a motel at an airport. The charge for internet usage was the highest of any place we stayed in England or Scotland.

  "Very good however when we go back to Edinburgh we will be booking a hotel closer to the City Centre/Royal Mile." (97879029)

  Staff very helpful and friendly, room small but clean

  Room on the small side, further out of Edinburgh City Centre than we thought when booking, bar in hotel expensive.

  "The uncomfortable bed spoilt an otherwise enjoyable stay" (97989051)

  Nice quiet room, helpful staff

  Dreadful uncomfortable bed. Much too small for 2 people and very highly sprung so the slightest movement disturbed the other person. Breakfast should be included

  Modern and clean room, good location opposite the station.

  Check-in was messy as it wasn't on their main system. They made up for this by offering a complimentary breakfast. Expensive Wifi in the room (£15).
