    The hotel was clean with the room being modern. comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast in the morning was excellent value and freshly cooked to a high standard.

    The TV only had terrestial tv channels, so maybe they could invest in digital tv 's with freeview.

    Everything was Excellent. Very clean. Friendly people. Good breakfast. I strongly recommend it. Good value money.

    Staff were polite & always helpfull. Room was very clean. Breakfast provided was excellent.

    Loo seat was not fixed as well as it could have been & moved around. Hinge on bathroom door was loose & made closing it slightly difficult.

    We enjoyed it, we where welcomed, any thing we needed she said to ask, the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and there was a nice atmosphere.

    Just the room door handle when we came back late at night was very hard to open, it took ages we neally had to wake some one to help?

    Very efficient perfomance by manager, good food, great location and most importantly, fabulous atmosphere.

    shower rooms are very small and noise of traffic on the main road facing rooms.

    "Satifactory overall, but would want room at rear of building if possible to avoid road noise. Missing window catch made problem worse!" (107151337)

    Clean & tidy, friendly staff, good breakfast. Short walk to town centre with good range of pubs & restaurants.

    Road noise - room adjacent to main road, and window was missing catch, so would not close fully.

    "Rooms comfortable and cheerful. Management extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast splendid. We were there for just two night for a family occasion and found it just what we needed at a reasonable cost." (108018346)

    "I stayed at this lovely guesthouse for one night to attend a special function.The Guesthouse was very easy to find,about 5 minutes walk from Bolton Train Station.I found the owners to be very friendly and helpful.The room was very nice and clean and it had an ensuite bathroom which is rare in guesthouses.Unfortunately,I missed breakfast as had to leave quite early due to work.I would highly recommend this guesthouse."     Comfortable, quiet, friendly, wonderful full breakfast. The Proprietor was extremely helpful over our car accident which we had during the time we were there.

    Very much in the town, but we knew that beforehand, and it was fine for one night stay.

    "The only downside to the hotel is its location on a busy road, and the traffic noise evident in the front rooms, which is beyond the control of its owners. A friend slept in a front room and had some problems with traffic noise during the night.Perhaps double glazing might be considered. Otherwise the accommodation was good value for money, and the situation was near to, and within easy walking distance of, the Town Centre." (97500059)

    Good reception and willing help from new proprietors who might reasonably have been under some pressure, but were most kind.
