    I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was very good.

    The only bad point which is a minor detail is we would have liked more milk and tea bags in the room for tea

    Quiet location in beautiful countryside, with good access to places of interest. Comfortable, well appointed room. Friendly, efficient staff. Real country inn atmosphere and excellent food / drink

    Breakfast OK

    The main grouse concerned the size of the toilet/shower which was a converted cupboard. Also we were not informed that after 10pm the entry to the hotel/pub was via a rear door. Weeventually found it!

    A delightful Inn in charming surroundings. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly; nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent.

    Lovely situation, by the river. Dogs allowed. Breakfast excellent!!

    Room was very warm - due, I think, to hot water cylinder in the en-suite. Closing the door of the bathroom and opening the window in the bedroom didn't seem to help much, even on cooler evenings.

    TV tuned to BBC Wales nd no remote. Breakfast very late but made up for by a provided sandwich. Checking in and paying was via the bar and had to wait while drinkers were served.

    Lovely atmosphere, nice people, good food, room ok but the beds were a bit rickety!! I was given use of the bar phone free of charge - very helpful as my mobile wouldn't work.

    Good clean up of the bar wouldn't go amiss, stairs were very difficult to negotiate. could have been a problem if I wasn't young for my age!!

    Good room, excellent en-suite and tea/coffee making facilities

    Due to it being a Public House the breakfast did not start to be served until 09:00, I had to be in Bridgwater at that time so I did not have one. I will bear this in mind next time I book in a public house. I was rather disturbed that the door I had entered through to my room was lock from the other side from 23:00 to 09:00, this was not pointed out to me verbally. There was a notice on the door but as I was shown to my room the notice became un-noticed because the door opened onto a wall with a table against it. I am glad I did not have to get out of the building in a hurry as this is the first door down to the ground floor from my room. There was of course another exit further up a narrow corridor but if there had been a fire at that end, I wouldn't have been able to get out of the building other than through a window. The bed had a foot-end and being 6ft 7ins tall I found I was too big for it!

    Food was very good. Evening meal in particular was very good value for money. Unfortunately the menu was limited.

    Entrance to staircase down to ground floor was locked at night and not unlocked till approx 9am. This left only one means of exit which was the fire escape at the end of the landing.

    Very friendly staff, good food at a reasonable price.

    Single room is a bit small, but ok for a few nights. Breakfast is normally 9-10am, but you can pre-arrange a slightly earlier time.

    Very Go Ahead Land Lord Food was Good and available on Sunday evenings. Parking very safe

    The room we had was a little Tired with a Tiny bath room, the shower cubicle needed some attention in the cleaning department. I think this was the only Twin room I looked at the Double Rooms and they looked better.

    Lovely country inn, good atmosphere, great location, would be great during good weather. Rooms were good and well appointed with Tea Coffee and Hot Chocolate available in the rooms. Bathroom was clean and hot water was plentiful.

    Rear entrance to accommodation floor was up a wood ramp which was treacherously slippy when wet. The included Full English Breakfast wasn't that great.

    Good value for money. Adaquate for overnight stay on business. I have used this hotel before and would use it when ever I need to stay in this area
