    Staff very freindley. Breakfast was very good rooms very clean & tidy

    Booking over internet was not forwarded to hotel arrived on the day they had no knowledge of our booking

    easy to find

    upgrading fire safety of the hotel, noisy work into the evening. work obviously required,but not as late.

    "For the price you can't go wrong. Friendly staff, a clean hotel with reasonable decor. Our room, though not the largest, had everything we needed and was newly decorated to a good standard. It even had a flat screen TV." (108838641)

    Very friendly staff, made us feel welcome from the moment we got there. During our stay they made our 2 year old daughter feel very comfortable. For the smokers amongst you there is a separate bacony smoking area witha seaview.

    None to speak of.

    It was the Embassy Hotel that we stayed in in the end.

    the people that run this hotel are lovely,the beds are really comfy.the breakfast was good too.would book again if i was staying in yarmouth again.it is also close to the town.

    Staff were all really friendly, food was very good, atmosphere was very relaxing which was what we intended on our break. Bed was very comfortable.

    Room was possibly a litlle small, but cosy.

    "A very comfortable stay in a well run clean comfortable hotel. Staff tried really hard to please. The room was large with excellent views and all the things we would expect in it. Thanks to Graham and Stella for making our stay a happy one." (107748326)

    The welcome we got on arrival by the furture son in law was both friendly and excellent. He helped us to carry all our luggage up to our room and asked us if the room was satisfactory. He explained the equipment, how to increase or decrease heat etc and how to get staff attention. The owners Graham and Stella, were very friendly and made sure we had all we wanted making us feel important guests. In fact it was like staying with family as we were introduced to their grand daughter. The location was excellent with lovely views out to sea. We would certainly use this hotel again and recommend to friends. The food also was excellent.

    On our arrival we were told that we could not have dinner as it had to be booked at breakfast. However future son in law suggested a good place to eat which we used to our satisfaction. I would suggest, as there is no other area of the hotel we could find fault with, that this could be sorted out easily by a mention on the hotel web site so that guests could phone ahead and secure dinner, it would be worth booking dinner as the food we enjoyed on our second night was delicious Also there was a restricted bar because it was the end of season and stocks were low.

    the room was lovely with a wonderful view. Breakfast was excellent and served promptly. Everyone seemed very friendly and helpful.

    checking in procedure seemed a little vague - we rang the bell, someone answered the door,gave us our keys and showed us to our room. We weren't asked to sign anything nor were we asked to show any confirmation of booking.

    We had no problems at all once we were checked in but on arrival it appeared that we did not have a room booked as the hotel was 'full'. The manager explained that he had not had a fax confirming our booking! Fortunately someone had checked out that morning and a room was found and we were happy to accept it.

    Lack of communication between yourselves and the hotel.

    The hotel has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, just right for a single lady on a short break. The food was excellent especially breakfast, I enjoyed my stay very much, and am looking forward to my next break at Gable End.

    Well presented; friendly owners/staff; reasonably close to the centre

    Room above us had creaky floorboards & unfortunately the occupant had to get up early (5 a.m.) for business the first night.

    "The hotel room very was spacious ,clean with ensuite shower and toilet.We had excellent sea veiws which we paid extra for, it was worth paying that little more for.The room had a double bed and also an extra bedroom, this was a family room as we were at the top of the hotel.My only concern was that a lift wasn't present and if an elderly couple had our room they would find it a problem climing the stairs, as would a young family with children. They may have been a lift to other floors but we wasn't shown one. Staff and food excellent.We were made to feel very welcome." (97192541)

    This hotel was very clean and airy,The owners were very nice, We would definately stay at this hotel again especially with the lovely breakfast they dish up.
