    "We were able to travel to many local places of beauty and interest from the hotel - its location is excellemt for sight-seeing in the area." (108436898)

    This was a very enjoyable short stay, where we were given a complimentary upgrade on arrival. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

    "Would definitely stay again, was lovely" (107341176)

    Fantastic value for money, absolutely lovely Reception Staff and extremely warm and inviting and helpful. Beautiful food for evening meal and breakfast.

    Waitressing Staff very aloof, and there was a set menu which included a free bottle of wine, I did not want a full bottle just a glass and got charged for it?? Also had to pay for a 3 course set meal but only had a main course.

    room was lovely, bed very comfortable and meal was beautiful

    kitchen fan was very loud in room. i did not appreciate being woken by it at 7am and my confirmed booking was not know by reception, luckily i had my reservation with me.

    made a request for more in room tea fac"(standard) at 10.30pm on passing rec' but were never brought to my room' simple thing but it is the small things that count right?

    overall standard very high

    resteraunt pricey if you were asingle traveller. THey had a meal deal for two.

    "Dissappointed at the noise/vibration in the room. Food nearly made up for it." (107160225)

    Food was excellent

    Room was above kitchen. Extraction fans from kitchen caused the floor to vibrate and a very annoying constant noise. Staff had to be asked on three occassions to bring an ice bucket and some glasses to the room. They arrived an hour after the first request.

    The Bed was big and comfortable,the shower/bath and toilet were very modern and clean and functioned well.The awner met us when we arrived as we went in wrong door and he could see we looked lost and showed us to reception, he was extremely pleasent.

    There were no tea-making facility that i could see, not even a bottle of drinking water available in room.These facilities are the norm in any Hotel i have stayed in over the last number of years and some were a lot cheaper to stay in as well.

    "Busy staff were attentive and polite, and the Bistro was good value. An excellent venue for weddings it also easily accomodates others. Not the cheapest - its easily beats the bigger local rivals on comfort, facilities and choice. Both retaurants are good; frankly the lack of gym/massage etc facilities was a plus - this a hotel for putting the pounds on, not pretending to lose them." (97511507)

    The beds were very very comfortable and the bath in Old English was stylish and functional.

    The room key to Mistletoe needs replacing.
