    Quality Hotel

    Room 231 - when I woke the next day I found six 'mosquito' type bites on my body. Have not reported it to the hotel. Cutlery at evening meal was dirty (2 items still coated with food - not washed properly.

    Friendly staff at reception and restaurant.

    Rather high prices for drinks and some meals - £3.90 for less than a pint of bottled beer and £14.00 for fish and chips!

    Good location for airport, easy transfer

    £2 Charge for shuttle transfer, one guest only had euro which wasn't accepted, driver was very curt about it.

    "Conveneint for our purpose. At £59 for B and B it was OK. Restaurant food was dreadfully over priced for extremely poor quality, it relied on guests being a captive market." (107949869)

    Clean and handy for an over night stay for Stansted airport. Staff with a very good attitude, customer friendly.

    Poor lighting, TV that needed a 5 year old to operate it. Small for 2 people, wouldn't have wanted to stay in it for more than an overnight. Restaurant food was over priced and reheated "bag food" - awful. No French wine on list. £2 each to travel to airport a bit steep, should be complimentary.Basin cold tap didnt work properly couldn't turn it in more than a fraction.

    Clean, helpful staff, good gym pool facility, rooms well appointed

    Appalling wine selection and grossly over priced. Food adequate but not as we expect of the Hilton.

    A pleasant hotel located near the airport. Very good breakfast. I stayed there on a special price deal and this provided good value for money.

    The shuttle bus costs £2 per person each way to the terminal. The heating in the room was not efficient and a portable heater had to be brought to the room. Internet was expensive at £15 per day.

    Some guests are extremley inconsiderate with excessive noise early in the mornings prior to their flights.

    Close to Stansted, not too noisy.Staff friendly.

    Expensive and had to pay extra to park the car while we were actually staying in the hotel.Air conditioner was not working properly in one room, OK in other room.

    "In general, the hotel was good. The room and service was on par with the cost. My purpose for the hotel was as a transit stay (one night) for my flight in the next early morning.     We ordered drinks and food in the hotel bar and had to sign twise for the same order, first for the drinks and then again when the food arrived.

    "A good breakfast selection. The children were asked not to use the main pool on one occasion, even though the pool was not being used by anyone. The children are excellent swimmers and this was a bit disappointing for them." (107119755)

    Stansted is a nice hotel with a very good bus service to the airport

    The sheets on one of the beds were very unclean. Housekeeping did come quickly to change the sheets.

    Once they put me in the deluxe room i booked on line it was fine

    I told them I booked a DELUXE room online and they told me that it was a mistake that i booked a twin room, I showed them my reservation i printed out and again they said it was a mistake, I demanded to see the Manager and he did finally put me in the room i paid for.

    Great staff. Comfortable room. Good bar/restaurant.

    It's chintzy to charge a couple of quid each for the shuttle to Stanstead. A smart marketer would figure out how to add a pound our two to each guest and let them believe the shuttle is complimentary.

    Buchung und Empfang waren in Ordnung, die Rezeptionistinnen waren freundlich u. hilfsbereit

    Essen: sehr mässig, Salatsauce unter aller Kritik - wie Glibber, das muss nicht sein. Service-Personal: beim Serevieren Finger im Essen, Kleidung beschmutzt. Frühstück: klebriger verschmutzter Boden, da müsste man öfter wischen.

    "There was a long wait to check in and when I did so my reservation was incorrect. Despite advising the receptionist I wanted one room for two nights, not two for one night, I noticed later that my key card showed I was due to check out after one night. Changing this was a laborious and painful process, and for some reason the rate I was charged was not as I had booked it through Active Hotels. When I arrived back from a flight late the following evening I expected my key card not to be set up to allow me access into my room, and sure enough it did not. When I checked out the following morning I was not offered a receipt. During my stay I had cause to make use of the hideously overpriced room service option, although the food was passable. In the leisure club, one of just two showers in the male changing rooms was out of order, leading to queues." (97559857)

    The general hotel was nice and clean food was good.

    the front desk staf was less then accomadating as they said I did not have a reservation even after I show the confirmation number.

    Good quality room

    No complaints except receptionist ubable to find our booking for 10/3 as we arrived at 4am on 11/3. We had rung on arrival at airport and boking confirmed. our flight had been delayed 7hrs and they did know our flight.Pleasant stay.
