    room warm in the evening

    parking is an issue as no dedicated parking 2nd time stay and the breakfast left a lot to be desired compared to the first stay

    Breakfast was ok. £20 knocked off price due to complaint (see bad points)

    room type booked not available, ended up in very small room with tiny bathroom with no bath. Lots of noise in pipes when other residents showering, noisy floor boards from room above. Small tv with poor reception and remote didn't work. Bed uncomfortable and pillows thin.

    freindly and helpful staff. excellent food

    found a copy of mayfair under the bed on the day of departure.my wife and i didnt no if this was standard procedure to receive a free copy of this magazine or just a bit of a mishap from the cleaner

    staff very charming and warm

    my room was noisy and i asked to change after the firts night -- the second one was quiet but dark (no view with the window), small and a bit old (moisted wall)

    Staff very attentive, at recepion and breakfast.

    Very bad squeeky floor boards, asked for a double room which I thought would be a double bed, very disappointed that it was 2 single, had trouble locking our room but did not realise their was 2 keys, when we spoke to the man on reception, he did not know what the other key was for, arriving late afternoon we had a coffee, not enough to see us through until the morning.

    a lot of build up of dust on the TV in the room lift a little jittery but nice to have

    We booked a standard double room but when we arrived we were given the Duke of Windsor suite which was very nice.

    Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. sometimes the food was cold and sometimes the coffee was cold but overall it was O.K

    Lift worked, so did kettle !

    No Scottish breakfast, couldn't get alarm clock to set time. TV fuzzy, and no remote. Menu Limited !

    Room was clean amd decor and furnishings in good order

    Food was appalling. Turkey tasted as though it had lain for hours prior to being served. Vegetables, sprouts, carrots and brocoli, were boiled to extintion. Potatoes awful and gravy was watery and over salted. I felt ill after and ate only half the portion. i have not eaten such terrible food in years!

    hotel not aware of our booking, fortunately were able to find us a room. noisy pipes above. cold in the night - bed quilt very thin parking difficult

    Room un-made on arrival but they did offer us another one. Breakfast included burnt toast and burnt egg, table not set properly. Staff seemed rushed and overworked at times.
