    The staff were very friendly and they made us feel welcome, the room was clean and the food was very good although a little expensive but there was plenty.

    Nice clean, warm room.

    The plug in single room sink was not working, therefore had to use bathroom of friends staying. Perhaps more sound proofing in rooms to stop sound of music from below might be a good idea.

    Nice situation

    The room was over reception and the soundproofing of the hotel was poor.This was especially a problem on Sat night when there was a private function which went onto midnight and then as the party goers were ferried home in mini bus shuttle the congregation point was under our window - this went on until 1:30 and each time the minibus turned up full headlights into the room.

    location good nicely cooked breakfast, though could have more variety excellent view of sea from room really comfortable bed.

    booking in - after waiting for somebody to acknowledge our arrival first comment made to us was regarding payment for the stay - suggest a bell to summon attention on reception, plus a welcoming pleasantry as first comment. i.e. "good afternoon, have you had a good journey?" booking out - nobody in attendance on reception, merely a note "in an emergency call the following number" Some money needs to be spent on sound-proofing, could hear every bathroom action of occupant in next room.

    Friendly welcome: very helpful and informative on arrival. Good location. Ample parking. Beautiful views of Menai Straits and Snowdon. Evening meal good standard.

    Breakfast disappointing. Limited choice of cereal, no dried fruits/yoghurts. Breakfast appeared pre-cooked. Staff occasionally surley. Room adequate but needed hooks on doors for dressing gowns/coats, etc., and shelf-space for toiletries, etc. Bathroom door didn't close.

    friendly and helpful staff. Breakfasts good but very limited choice of cereals. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night but we found it expensive and not very good.

    Not enough staff. The staff seemed to be overworked (I hope they are also overpaid)!!

    Location.

    Poor service overall. Greasy bacon&eggs, suggest grilling bacon & use better oil for cooking eggs, keep oil off plates. No facilities to dry wet clothing, no heating on in rooms. Food not as good / homemade as info claimed. Tea trays & toilet paper not restocked without request on 2 occasions.

    Beautiful location and potentially a very nice hotel/public house.Food was good and value-for-money.

    Staff badly need customer service training.Nothing major just the need to go that little bit further in their attempt to make guests feel welcome.The cleanliness of the room (in particular the walls which had food stains)could have been better.One does not expect to be asked to pay the full amount on arrival without first seeing the accomodation. One does not expect to sit for fifteen minutes at a pre-booked dinner table with waitresses going back and forth until forced to enquire and to be told that all food had to be ordered and paid for at the bar.It really only takes a few small considerations to take a guest's experience from average to excellent.

    Hotel really relaxed, staff very friendly, great environment for chilling out

    Fan in bathroom didn't work so when we opened the door after a shower steam set off the hotel's fire alarm system. Not really a problem for us but would imagine it was for rest of hotel, however i am extremely confident this has now been resolved.

    "Room wasn't prepared due to miscommunication so shower not working and no toiletries but just had a bath instead-not enough of a problem to be a serious bad point.     Food not great-lots of it but very average (think main chef was off on the day I stayed). Chose seafood and wished I hadn't - bit like a school dinner only worse.

    Large double bed. Beautiful view. Set back from road so quiet. Walking distance to the coast.Private parking. Clean and spacious bathroom.

    Grubby downstairs pub area and function room where breakfast was served. A rather odd assortment of furniture in the room.

    The host was lovely, she made us very comfortable and welcome and showed us around the Inn which was really nice of her. She took us to our rooms and showed us where all the other appropriate rooms were. She worked really hard.

    If I was to be really picky we would have liked the evening food to of been a higher standard although the Full breakfast in the morning was very good. The location 'pin' on the computer map is located totally incorrectly, the 'pin' should be on the entrance road to the village approx' 300 mtrs in from the roundabout on the left, other users beware.

    A very good venue with pleasant and helpfull staff. Well situated with a good and reasonably priced menue

    None worth listing as they would be minor points which did not affect the quality of our stay eg it would have been usefull to have glasses in the room for cold water drinks through the night; no big deal that they weren't any

    Clean, good food, spacious room.

    The bed room was cold and the air felt damp.Heating should be available as the weather has been wet and cold for August. We were told that the heating was only turned on in October but it should be according to the weather.

    too much noise from public bar, they actually mini-bus people in to the place! very noisy for a family holiday. Trying to get a 5 year old to sleep at night was awful, we could actually hear word for word conversations from bar.

    Excellent Views. Superior staff trying to take care of your every need. Great family or group acomodations. They have a patio to sit, eat or just look at the beautiful surrounding area. Very quiet and easy to find.

    The bed was a little to hard for us. Also needed to put soap and shampoos with a hair dryer into each room.

    Good location, friendly staff and excellent food. Would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Anglesey.

    No bad points, but one comment to note is that in our room the plug sockets were not near enough mirrors. From a female perspective it's quite hard to dry hair without being near to a mirror.

    Good views from the room

    quite old. The firedoor in the corridor was open,the floor creaked. The breakfast had been kept warm (the bacon and sausage) but the eggs were freshly added when we sat down. The toast was cold. The saugsages were very difficult to cut as they had gone like rubber.In the morning there was know one on reception to check us out so we just left the key so in all I would say overpriced at

    Quiet, off the beaten track and as we like it. Some of staff more welcoming than others, but ok generally.

    Food typical bar food, not very well presented or indeed prepared. Breakfast "chef" was unkempt looking landlord. Toast looked and tasted suspiciously like previous day`s re-tosted!

    Good breakfast. Evening food well cooked from fresh supplies, although fairly basic ,typical "pub-grub".

    Bad access drive Poor access drive, many potholes. Lack of lounge. Expensive for what is offered - price paid should include Dinner in my opinion.
