    "This hotel has everything you need for a simple stay, the inclusive breakfast was a wise choice and the staff were fantastic, welcoming and warm throughout the stay. The room was perfect for its purpose, a cosy room with good facilities. Will be back." (108114350)

    Breakfast was good and served promptly.

    Stayed in the old coach house. The traffic was very noisy as the main road was only a few metres away. The toilet had a leak. Bathroom was small, I had to dry myself in the bedroom and i am not a large person.

    Breakfast was very nice

    When booking into hotel we were given a bedroom with 2 singles bed so had to ask to be moved.

    Nice old very large building with some extra separate rooms. Good car parking. Staff very nice and top marks for breakfast.

    Excellent service from the reception staff and the chef at breakfast. Very friendly and helpful.

    The shower wasn't the best in the world, but was OK.

    "Das Haupthaus strahlt eine gewisse Gediegenheit aus und das Personal bzw. die Hotelbetreiber sind sehr bemüht. Vor einer Einquatierung in das Nebengebäude (außenliegende Abwasserinstallation an der Hauswand)kann nur gewarnt werden. Da kein anderes Zimmer verfügbar war, sind wir 3 Nächte geblieben. Das war im nachhinein mindestens zwei Nächte zu lang.....!" (108285600)

    Das Personal / die Hotelleitung war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sofortige Hilfe bei Problemen logistischer Art bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt auf der Insel. Für ein Abensessen mit 3 Personen wurde die Küche gegen 20:00 Uhr extra geöffnet. Videoüberwachung der Außenanlagen gegen unbefugte Personen.

    Das Nebengebäude, in welchem wir untergebracht waren, ist eine baufällige Bruchbude! Die Toilette (ca. 1 qm groß) befand sich im Zimmer in einer Zelle ohne Belüftung, die Installation war undicht und es bildeten sich ständig große Pfützen in diesem Käfig. Die Zimmerdecke war undicht und so tropfte das Wasser beim Reinigen der darüber befindlichen Räume auf unseren Nachttisch. Die Zimmerdecke knarzte bei jeder Bewegung der Gäste über uns, das wir einen baldigen Einsturz der Konstruktion befürchteten. Beim Duschen schwankte die Temperatur aufgrund des überforderten Durchlauferhitzers zwischen 15 und 50 Grad Celsius. Die Zimmer sind so hellhörig, dass jedes noch so kleine Geräusch das ganze Haus mithören mußte (Toilette!).

    The staff and the bar area were very welcoming and breakfast was quite good.

    The room we were in was the tiniest room we have ever been in, so small in fact that we only had a 4 foot bed and one bedside locker. The shower and washhand basin were in the room itself, not very satisfactory.

    It was unclear when trying to book via the internet whethe or not breakfast was included in the cost of the room (which it was). I abandoned the internet and phoned the hotel directly to book. Hotel good value, excellent breakfast.

    Everyone was very friendly even the other guests we enjoyed our stay and even when a double room was booked in error by myself for the other group they were very helpful in getting a twin room would stay there again.

    umm trival i guess but the bar was a bit tiny but we had plans on going out in the evening anyway and we never spent time in the garden but everyone was very nice

    Proximity to address I was visiting. Friendly staff. Low cost of accommodation. Low cost of good, very homely food. Plenty of parking. Good gardens. Comfortable public rooms. Small unpretentious homely hotel.

    Room on third floor - would be difficult with heavy luggage. Small room with shower within room. Separate toilet in cupbaord within room without ventilation to outside. No toiletries provided.

    The hotel provides excellent value for money. Our son is just coming to the end of his first year at Birmingham university and provides ideal accomodation for us when visiting him. The breakfast is good as well.

    Nice roomy car park. Lovely lounges, bar and gardens. Dining room is very nice and breakfast was excellent. Friendly management and staff.

    Room was old fashioned; shower was pathetic; curtain rather than door to close off en-suite. No hair dryer.

    Generally nice hotel, clean and comfortable.

    Staff were unhelpful and breakfast was a confusing experience. When we tried to check out, nobody was on reception, so in the end we just left our key on the desk.

    "Beside the look of the forniture, the room was perfectly cleaned and I appreciated to walk into a large and warm room. Although a major street is near the hotel, the room was silent and I could sleep well all night long. I appreciated the stay (excellent report quality/price!)" (107485345)

    THe room was big and perfeclty cleaned and, moreover, warmed all night long (outside the weather was chilli but I could sleep in T-Shirt and shorts). The staff is really kind and helpful. The price is excellent. Good breakfast.

    The forniture of the room is not excellent: it is evident that the forniture is old and needs to be changed.
