    "About the worst place I have ever stayed. I would have left before check in had it not been for the cancellation polilcy." (108275659)

    The staff were reasonably agreeable, even when not competent

    Dingy public areas, poor frontage, very badly designed bathroom - washbasin faucet sprayed water out of the basin; shower was such that you had to climb into the bathtub and stand under the shower to turn on taps that were not indicated hot./cold, then press the shower button while you were inescapably directly under the shower head, so that you got doused with cold water before the warm came through, a bathroon designed by an idiot. The parking areas was desolate. The phones did not work. Room was too warm and airless - the window had no security feature and opened onto a roof area. Corridors smelled of food.

    The receptionist was excellent, and all the other staff were very friendly. food was very good nothing fancy but good.

    the smell of stale smoke in the bar was quite overpowering and the external appearance was very poor compared to the inside, the parking at the rear was very rough.

    Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very nice.

    Room was very dark even with all lights on. Bathroom was a bit old looking and there was a hole in the ceiling.

    "As it was only one night and we were there for a friends wedding and not for a weekend break, the state of the room did not justify a complaint or a move as myself and my partner were only going to be spending a few hours in the room.     Friendly receptionist. Nice choice of breakfast in the morning.

    Very dirty room, Mould growing up the walls and in the cupboard. Very noisey room. Damp bed. Broken shower. Mould in the bathroom. Bathroom Floor was wet. Strong mouldy smell throughout.

    Very friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast.

    Room was a bit musty, needed airing.

    First impression on arriving at the hotel is not good as it does not look how it is portrayed in the picture. The hotel was adequate for the purpose and for the cost.

    The excellent performance of the staff and the excellent quality of the meals served.

    I am pretty sure that the room had been used by smokers previously.
