    Good clean hotel.

    Payment facilities less than adequate. I wanted to pay by Solo or Maestro debit card and had to give a £20 cash deposit. Most hotels accept these as a holding card.

    Clean and very comfortable and presentable decor and facitilites to a high standard.

    bar closes at 11pm a bit early.

    Very good staff both at the reception and at the hotel bar.

    My wife, son and I stayed overnight at the hotel following a visit to the theatre. Having retired to bed we did not expect to be 'entertained' until midnight by loud blaring music. If we had been informed about this event then we would have booked at another hotel. Barrie Smith.

    "Hotel location balanced other inside short coming " (107643740)

    Good Location as variety of eating places nearby along with shopping area and Wimbledon station. Busy but not over crowded area.Housekeeping is fair.Breakfast was ok which is charged separately

    Single standard room is too small and also bed is so small that you can hardly manage.No mini bar and even no glass for drinking are provided.Size of bath room is so small that you can hardly stand along with poor ligts present in bath room

    "I have stayed in alot of hotels and I always recomend hotels of exceptionally good cleanliness and where the staff are keen to please, and I am confident you wont be disappointed. I would be happy to return to this hotel for a short stay ie weekend, but due to the room that i was in was very basic Im not sure I could do a whole week." (107681039)

    The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and pleasant, I did do the white glove test 10/10 for cleanliness the bathroom was gleaming.

    if you are someone that likes to lay-in especially if you had a late night I would check with the hotel that your room is not situated next door to the lift.

    Clean, friendly hotel. Good location with on-site parking.

    The shower was a bit of a nightmare to get the correct temperature. Either cold or scalding hot. Took ages to get a moderate temperature and to work the controls.

    "It was fine for a quick stay-over. Position is good. We had business in the area and for this purpose the hotel was good. We will not need to visit the area again for business though." (107194425)

    The staff were generally helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was nice. There was a good choice of food. The bathroom was clean and neat and functioned well.

    The bedrooms are too small, cupboard space is limited and there are no suitcase racks for luggage. For a couple with the usual complement of luggage when travelling overseas, the room was really a bit too small. The first impression when entering the hotel is that there is too much yellow used for the furniture. It does not feel welcoming or cosy, instead feels somewhat "nervous". Too much leather used. The breakfast room can be cheered up a bit too.

    All new and clean. I got very good Sunday deal at

    cleaner came into room at 9am in morning - 1 knock, 1 second, and in.

    "The hotel has been refurbished recently, and the quality of the room was very high (nice furniture, decor & bathroom, all newly decorated). The service was excellent - friendly and helpful, especially when we a) asked to stay for another night at the last minute, someone else had booked our room, but they made other arrangements so we could stay there and didn't have to move our stuff; b) when we turned up past 3am on Sunday morning; c) when we asked for a bit of extra time in bed!; d) when we left vast quantities of bags for them to look after on the day we left. We have stayed in many, more expensive, London hotels in the last few months, and this was by far the best experience, and the most value for money that we have had. The staff should be commended for their excellent service." (97865874)

    Tiny lift! I wouldn't like to be in there with someone I didn't know!

    Disappointed that there were no handrails on bath/shower and bath was slippery. Another chair in room would have been appreciated. Shower cubicle rather than bath.

    "ok i suppose for price but have stayed in guest houses cheaper and better. This hotel should concentrate on the small things having a grand foyer is good but not the be all." (97590129)

    first impressions were excellent attentive staff and friendly

    only 2 tea bags no snacks come on how much would it cost for a couple of extras.

    "Building work was going on. The hotel should really have been completely closed to the public. Plastering, the smell of paint, workmen, noise...it was far from relaxing. The room furniture and decor was old, threadbare carpets, peeling paint, tatty bathroom appliances. We would have stayed another 7 nights but decided to swiftly find another hotel that included a cooked breakfast and internet in the cost of the room and very friendly staff too!" (97206780)

    The double bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room and bathroom were spacious and there was a balcony with chairs and table.

    The shower had holes in the hose, the chairs and table were filthy, there was only a dirty net veil covering the bathroom window so I had an unpleasant encounter with the window cleaner seeing me half naked. I contacted the reception and ended up having to put 3 towels up for privacy, especially at night as people on the outside could see in when the light was on. There should have been a blind or curtains.

    "Obviously this is a good hotel but on this occasion when decorating and refurbishment is imminent the accommodation was not satisfactory with respect to dust and cleanliness apart from the bed. Towels were grey and I was not willing to use one. Liquid soaps etc were old. There were obvious signs of previous refurbishments. The light over the bed was out of order. Overall the room gave an impression of darkness. THIS ROOM WAS NOT VALUE FOR MONEY AT THIS TIME." (97545884)

    "The refurbishment meant that brealfast had to be taken in the rooms which were poorly equipped for this (space). There was also no bar due to the refurbishment." (97118728)

    The room was perfectly satisfactory and the staff were nice.

    The hotel was in the process of refurbishment and this detraced from the experience. Advance notice was not given.
