    Quiet, easy parking, cleanliness, comfy beds, excellent breakfast, cheerful & helpful staff.

    None.(Even the ongoing major refurbishment didn't affect the enjoyment of our stay).

    VERY helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast excellent and quickly served. Clean and tidy considering ongoing building works.

    Bathroom mirror and shower head too high for 5.2 woman to use. Installed by 6.0 man, perhaps? (Room 32)

    Comfortable Bed, Good TV, nice room. Arranged early breakfasts

    No hot water on one morning, Tea ,Coffee & Milk not replenished. There was building work in progress which may have contributed to this.

    Excellent staff, proffessional and helpful. Room size was adequate for the stay as I had about 4 hours to revise for the course I was on each evening.Waitress service at breakfast excellent

    The breakfast was poor, low quality sausage (1) bacon clearly had been in an oven to keep warm. Mushrooms appeared to be dehydrated-so thinly sliced and hard. I only had 2 breakfasts and hotel lost revenue.The hotel used to have a reputation for an excvellent breakfast. Bowl in bathroom had 4 cracks, shower dangerous went to scalding without warning.Some mould in tile grouting. Less investment on conservatory and more into rooms would vastly improve image

    Hotel was under renovations but as we stayed on a Sunday night found no problem with this. Staff and breakfast were very good, location also very good for our needs, directions to Hotel good. We enjoyed the fresh coffee in the room, a good touch.

    Our bathroom was very clean but tiles could do with a bit of attention, and suggest a hair-dryer in each room.

    Excellant service from staff,very accomadating with early breakfast,quiet location, good parking.

    Very creaky floor boards on hallways / adjacent stairs which was quite loud in the room when other guests passed by,especially when children trying to get to sleep.

    Staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked the late check in until 23.00. The room was modern and clean.Hotel was in a convenient place.

    None other than the fact the builders are doing improvements. This did not affect my stay as I never saw the builders and the building work can only improve the experience of guests when it is done.

    Very helpful, friendly staff, good bed, good breakfast.

    I needed WiFi which was very flaky on day of arrival and non-existent the following morning. Room was rather dated and could have done with some sprucing up. Major refurbishment was under way which didn't help the overall look.

    Very Clean with a PROPER bed ,Freeview in the room

    Wifi although free was inconsistent on connection . 7 Pounds for a breakfast is bordering on extortion when I can get Steak and chips in the pub next door for just over £7. Hot water was unregulated in the shower it was either scolding or freezing no regulation.

    Bathroom very small. Had to maneouvre around the door just to get in. Smelt of the restuarant just below us. Old cooking smells.

    It was very conveniently sited for our visit, the rooms were comfortable and homely, the welcome and service we encountered was super, the receptionist was very helpful, and the breakfast came quickly and was just what we needed.

    "Choosing a smaller hotel we thought we would escape the rat race and noise, this was the case but I'm afraid the lack of up to date plumbing left us feeling we were glad we only stayed one night. I don't think it was worth £75 a night." (107844870)

    Bed was comfortable and clean, breakfast room was clean and adequate.

    The shower had no thermostat or anti-scald device fitted, I found this out very painfully. None of the taps had any indication which was hot or cold, a very dangerous situation for small children having just used the toilet.My wife and I were looking forward to a nice English breakfast which we received but had to wait half an hour for it.

    A very comfortable room with adequate facilities for our needs, we would throughly recommend the hotel to friends and if we where ever in that area again would book with you without hestitation.

    We know you had just had a new heating system but the radiator in our room needed bleeding which we pointed out the next morning to the receptionist who said she would deal with it but this did not spoil our vist to the hotel.

    Good Service, which is rare in the UK

    There is not much sound proofing between rooms, so conversations are easily overheard. Plus the floors are noisy when walking over them.

    The room was clean and comfortable but there was a lingering smell as if the room used to be a smoking room which we found a bit unpleasant.

    parking easy, accesss to Gosport direct, friendly staff,very nice gardens.

    under impression this was an adult only hotel, two mornings at breakfast, noisy, loud children,shouting and running in and out of french windows, embarassing for staff,spoilt quiet start to the day.

    Close enough to town to make use of all the surrounding amenities and see our friends and relatives. Easy access and directions were easy to follow as it is on a main route into Fareham.

    Not really a bad point but one thing that could be improved on is the signage could be a little further away from the entrance so as to give more warning before turning in.

    This was not really a hotel as such. Everything seemed more like a B&B - from the tired decor and room facilities, to the poor breakfast.
